I have a new crack theory on Heroes! I don't hang out at any of the theory places, so maybe it's already been speculated to death, but...

What if Claire's biological parents are Niki and Nathan? She could have been born in 2007, and sent back in time via Hiro so that she'd be able to use her powers with the rest of the gang in 2006 to prevent great evil. Wouldn't that be great, in a soap-opera-twistish kind of way? Micah would be younger than his little sister! Aw.

No? Is the hiatus making me crazy?

Umm.. probably not! But it's an awesome idea. I love the time-travel elements of the show. Probably due to my Doctor Who obsession.

When's the hiatus over, anyway?

I keep telling myself I'll download some Doctor Who some time, and I keep 'forgetting' all the time.

The new episodes finally start up again on the 22nd on NBC, so, the 23rd for us all overseas folk. I can't wait! ^^

Haitus is making you crazy! I had the same thought a while back while planning the next four seasons with my friend. But we decided not to use it because it threw a large incest-shaped wrench into our Nathan/Claire/Peter love triangle storyline.

Well, you'd still have the mild issue of Nathan and Peter being brothers but I do see your point. ^^

And the hiatus is driving me insane. Definitely.

Hmm? I've thought about Claire possibly being Niki's daughter.

They look alike - well, alike enough to pull off a daughter/mother storyline.

Also, Niki has many secrets in her past that they are slowly revealing. Her drinking problems. Jessica. So, it wouldn't shock me if all of a sudden we found out that she gave up a child for adoption.

Hey! Maybe Niki's father is Claire's dad? Hahaha. Niki's father is jacked up for some reason, so maybe he raped Niki. Wtf is wrong with my brain?! haha.

I can definitely see Niki giving up a child for adoption in the past. It's not as much fun (to me) as Nathan being the dad, but I wouldn't really be surprised either. And it certainly would be less of a stretch.

Since I don't ship Peter/Claire (I don't know whom to ship Peter with, it's rather sad), I'm happy with my silly theory for now, though. ^^

I looovveee this theory! It would mean that Niki is pregnant with Claire right now (crazy!). I'm not sure if the show would go there at the risk alienating/confusing its viewers, but I hope they do.

Even if this isn't that case, I'm almost certain that Claire is related to the Petrellis in some way, which is just as awesome.

Hiatus does crazy things to us all. :(

Hee, I'm glad you think so. It just doesn't seem to fit in any of the other existing storylines for them to randomly hook up one night if there aren't going to be consequences, you know?
