Who's up for another merry-go-round of crazy LJ voting?

You know you want to. :D
So, amidst freaking out about ER and rejoicing in recent Bones fluffy-schmoopy times, I managed to watch The Office, Battlestar Galactica, and Supernatural.

Now excuse me as I return to freaking out about ER and rejoicing in recent Bones fluffy-schmoopy times. XD
This year I decided that I would...

See a lot of movies. )

Watch a lot of TV. )
'kay, update is a long time coming, I have memes and stuffs to post, but the saddening amount of Bones love on the f-list has advanced my TV thoughts recap thing that I intended to post later with the rest. :p

House )

Fringe )

Bones )

Unrelatedly... SUPERNATURAL TONIGHT OMG! This is an awesome week for TV, clearly.

And also, I'm kind of going on awesome-overload with all the Heroes stuff that's been popping up. Those guys at NBC/Universal sure know how to work up the hype. LMAO @ the "Who Shot Nathan Petrelli?" promo they just released, that was fantastic lulz. XD ETCETERA. I won't have time to commentate it all. I just love everything ever about this show, pretty much. Yay!

I'll try and make a proper entry tonight. Maybe.
Just so I don't forget, here's a list of shows I intend to start and/or finish over the Summer:

  • 24
  • Alias
  • Battlestar Galactica
  • Brothers And Sisters
  • Bones
  • How I Met Your Mother
  • Life On Mars
  • Psych

Did I forget anything? ;)
Is anyone else having trouble uploading to Flickr tonight? The 'processing' part of it seems to be taking ages. Oh, never mind - they're having network issues at the moment.

Meantime... memes! )

This was fun. I'm going to look into safe removal of fan caps now, mainly whether or not it's doable, as the fan in my computer has been making a ruckus - again - for a couple of days. (I deal by drowning out the sound with music, but watching videos is more taxing.) Sigh.
These TV thoughts and musings are mostly jumbled up, so don't be looking for any sort of chronological sense. TV is awesome. And also, HUZZAH THE STRIKE IS OVER! Yays! Now, without further ado... Back to our regularly-scheduled (sort of) episode fangirling!

Lost )

Supernatural )
Don't have tons of substance to update about, am still criminally behind on replying to comments, and not having much time right now to remedy those (mild) issues but I will not break my posting streak. Especially not with the end of the month so close. :P

Watched The Office and Supernatural today, both of which I enjoyed, but can't much go into detail about. I'll be watching Grey's Anatomy tonight, though I'm not sure I'll stick with the show much longer. TV schedule is getting crowded, even for me. Heh.

What I wanted to post tonight were two Heroes fic recs, because strangely enough (sic), I find myself reading tons of it rather than the bajillion works on my university syllabus - 9 books in as many days is totally feasible, right? Anyhow!
Here's the most fantastic, in-character, fluffy-cosy-funny Matt/Mohinder fic I've read... ever. Also, it includes hefty amounts of Molly, and family-ness, and zomg!CUTE. [livejournal.com profile] _hazelnutcoffee wrote it and thereby won the intarwebz. ♥
And for the Sylar/Mohinder nostalgics (I include myself in that group), [livejournal.com profile] levitatethis wrote this amazing two-parter that you must drop everything and go read now because, holy lizards and cockroaches, you do not want to be missing out on such great angst smut writing. Again, the characterization is phenomenal, and just... shfdalskkjhfd. It broke me, but in the good way, you know? No? So go read.

Also, most importantly, I wanted to wish [livejournal.com profile] dontburnhot, [livejournal.com profile] canadian_turtle, [livejournal.com profile] ferretwho and anybody else who's going ([livejournal.com profile] glorfindelghost?) tons of fun and good times at Collectormania this weekend. Don't forget to blackmail the Heroes guests into coming to Eclipse.
Have a post of random fandom-y things with your morning/lunch break coffee! :)

BEST. FANVID. EVER. The Office + Love Today = gold.

Drive continues to be awesome. (Damn it! ^^)

This week's House was complete lolfulness ♥ One of the better episodes this season, I say. Also, the boy with the crush on Cameron is the same kid who plays Bryan Greenberg's son on October Road, where he gets to be a lot more adorable. Little poll and theory on House ships. )

Lastly, a meme stolen from [livejournal.com profile] merry_holdwine:

Put your favorite movie that the corresponding actor stars in, and then add one actor to the end.

cast in order of appearance )

I left blanks where I couldn't think of anything.
TV post! With a meme at the end! Whee!

Heroes )

Anyway, speaking of long hiati: COME BACK LOST! I miss you. *sadface* I always forget to download the new One Tree Hill episodes for my friend Eileen on Thursday mornings, because if Lost's not on, then, there's nothing on. It's how my mind works. (Yes, I do realize how pathetic that is.) 13 days! *sigh*

Moving on...

Studio 60 )

The Office )

House )

Grey's Anatomy )

Supernatural )

I have an itch to catch up on Veronica Mars that I think I just might scratch. Maybe before Lost comes back. I also want to start Friday Night Lights, in large parts thanks to you and a little Kyle Chandler, so I'll do that possibly next month. Lastly, I feel compelled to see how good the Show-That-Trumped-The-Office-At-The-Globes (and thus, Shall Not Be Named) really is. I've caught the German version a couple of times, and just learned it has Christopher Gorham in it (who, for the record, could totally play Wilson's brother on House, yuhuh, *firm nod* if he hadn't gone and got his 'big break' before, pfft *headshake*). So, yes, some time. Definitely.

I didn't comment on the Golden Globes in a timely fashion, and I don't really have anything of interest to contribute even in hindsight. I just love that Hugh Laurie won again! *fangirls him and his wondersome speech*

And now, the meme! It's the favorite character meme, I stole it from every one because I enjoy it muchly. One of the answers is clearly stated in this post, so if you've been patient enough to read it through, there's an easy point for everybody. :D The rules:

1. Post a list of 20 fandoms.
2. Have your friends list guess your fave character from each fandom
3. When guessed, bold the fandom, put in brackets who got it and sentence why you like the character/person.

list of fandoms here )

+ if you're not sure/don't know, take a guess wild guess or make up something!
+ bonus points if you also get my least favorites

That's all, folks!
I'm so late in replying to comments, it's not even funny. I apologize, and I'll get right on it.

The 4400 just got good again. (Well, almost.) Yay, Jordan! I want icons. I wrote fic. The fandom is so small. :(

It turns out, The Little Prince has been adapted on screen. Only musicals, animation movies and an opera, though. Which makes me not entirely wrong. :p

I'm watching House again. And again. I have so much love.
"Well, I don't want to say bad things about other doctors, especially useless drunks."
"You're addicted to pain killers."
"But I'm not useless."
Hee! XD
Thank goodness the season starts so soon. I've read detailed spoilers - should be pretty interesting, to say the least. Impatient, moi?

And wasn't this quite the pile of random and pointless? Am so very bored.
Emmy noms? Count me in with the "WTF?," "Meh, whatevs!," and the "Huh. Hmm." crowds. People who deserve noms ALWAYS get overlooked anyway, so... heh. It's the same every year, you hope the nominations will make more sense than the year previous, and they basically never do. And I'll still watch, because *insert the ever-cliché'd trainwreck metaphor here*

Meanwhile, here's a TV meme I stole from [livejournal.com profile] _enharmonic

Bold all of the following TV shows which you've ever seen 3 or more episodes of in your lifetime.
Italicize a show if you're positive you've seen every episode of it.
If you want, add up to 3 additional shows (keep the list in alphabetical order).

And as a totally random footnote, the fruit salad my dad made tonight is awesome. Tastes like a million dollars. Seems at first like more than you could handle, but once you get started on it? Can't ever stop.
