OMFG!?

MATT'S PSYCHOSIS GETS MORE AND MORE ~INTRICATE~ WITH EVERY SCENE, LMAO.
One of two things is happening here:
a) Matt's subconscious is conjuring up this image of Sylar because Matt can't deal with what he's done, is doing, and wants to be doing. He's tricking himself so his eventual breakdown feels somewhat justified. (Since he's always been the unassuming type, I could easily buy this.)
b) ~Sylar's soul~ is indeed stuck in Matt's mind. (This is infinitely stupid, and I wouldn't put it past these writers.)
In any case, Matt fails entirely at ignoring whatever it is. Then again, he's never been depicted as the sharpest crayon in the box, so I have no major problems with this.
Nathanites Never Say Die
Wtf happened to the body anywayz?!??!
This episode needed 100% moar Pasdar. Trufax.
Also, Peter not getting the memo re: losing his brother = epic sadtiems. Now watch as the show fails to deliver.
Mohinder Watch
Have you seen a sexy geneticist?
Well, on the plus side, at least he didn't become a busboy in some random Indian restaurant in Arlington? Nor was he that random body on a gurney at the end of the episode? That's... good, right? -_-
Okay, cool.
(I begrudgingly liked this...)
Claire standing up for Gretchen was great. As was Noah getting his drink on whilst on the phone with her at the end. He has beer in his fridge at last, yaaay! My kingdom for a drunk!HRG scene. I can't decide if Gretchen is still a creepy stalker with a shady agenda or a bonafide innocent outcast, but either way I'm enjoying this storyline. And Claire misses Lyle! :O
Gods help me, I can't help feeling some modicum of sympathy for Samuel. The lady at the house he grew up in was a moron and, yeah, I'm glad she's dead.
Matt's head!Sylar is hilarious. Also if it's really only Matt's inconscious at work, "I ooze charm" becomes 465442 times more revealing of his own proclivities. (Not that we didn't always have an inkling, what with the whole moving in and raising a kid with Mohinder thing, before that fell through.) Or if that doesn't float your boat, there's still FYG-verse parallels to be drawn. I think Matt's always been helplessly attracted to the dark side, and this is yet more evidence.
Emma seems interesting so far, and the VFX for her synesthesia were super-pretty. The transitions to her scenes were always nifty, too. I just hope she wasn't only brought in tocome between Peter and Hesam be a pointless ~love interest~.
I call shenanigans!
(... but let me tell you how you still suck.)
Why does Samuel get two different powers? D: I'm still not down with this whole ink manipulation business. It's just awful, lol.
I'm still not a fan of the head!Sylar story. Haha, if it sounds like I'm contradicting myself, I just think they're executing a crappy idea very well, given the parameters.

Hotass o' The Week
Half the reason I keep watching

Hesam ♥
HBIC o' The Week.
Head Bitch In Charge
I have to give it to Claire this week for her awesome "BITCH DON'T EVEN D:" moment when HRG was ready to call the Haitian and ~take care of~ Gracie Sheffield.
Ship o' The Week
lol romance?
Peter/Hesam still! I am not jumping ship until, like, Hesam dies or something (sad day). But runner-up has got to be Gretchen/West. They can bond over their stalker tendencies and their obsession with Claire. MFEO!
Best line
I may or may not quote this irl
"Partners? Man, you run off the second we get on the scene. I'm your chauffeur." Aw. <\3
I also loved HRG's and Claire's phone conversation, the whole "did you rehearse that speech" bit. Hee!
Most burning question?
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! *flails*
Why the haaale are they cutting that INTERESTING bit about Edgar and Lydia not being allowed to have friends outside the carnival and having sekrit childruns and stuff out of the show, and relegating it to online content half the viewers won't even bother to check out? Huh? WHYYYY?! Seemed a good opportunity to flesh out the characters.
The mind. It boggles.
Overall,
I liked this episode. I'm not OMG IN LOVE with this volume yet, but aside the absence of certain beloved characters of mine, nothing really made me cringe and want to spork my own eyes out.
