TRANSLATION:

She has witnessed so many pains
She's come out of so many struggles
Always keeping her heart on her hand
Where many others would just give up

She says after some looks in some eyes
All words suddenly are meaningless
And you'd not think of wondering why
You just walk the lines, deal with the mess

It may be (it may be)
Just a drop in the sea
It may be (it may be)
A drop of sea in desert...
But it's her reason to live!
It's her reason to live...
But it's her reason to live,
Her reason to live...

Oh, she has wiped many soggy eyes
And closed shut just as many eyelids
She even forgot the color of sky
While she was busy scraping her knees

She says it's easy to always find
A reason not to do a damn thing
But she'd rather never speak her mind
And follow on through to each ending

It may be (it may be)
Just a drop in the sea
It may be (it may be)
A drop of sea in desert...
But it's her reason to live!
It's her reason to live...
But it's her reason to live,
Her reason to live...

Oh, she's broken many silences
Screamed her soul out at tall deaf walls
In echo, never came fair chances
But instead, even more grudges held close

Because if today, existence down here
Is only defined by mere survival
Know that the bat of a butterly's wing
Could change everything, for us all

It may be (it may be)
Just a drop in the sea
It may be (it may be)
A drop of sea in desert...
But it's her reason to live!
It's her reason to live...
But it's her reason to live,
Her reason to live...

::sigh:: This song always makes me cry because A) the lyrics and B) it was a charity-song to raise funds for AIDS cure research. And charity-songs always get me, no matter what their cause is.
Who knew lying on a beach all afternoon with a couple friends could be so tiring?? 'Cause it was, I'm exhausted! I'm glad I didn't get burned this time, though! :) Yah, I went to the beach with Ju and Eileen. My cousin Lichao and our friend Morgane were supposed to maybe join us, but they eventually didn't. Oh well, I saw them this morning anyway (but I'll get to that further down.). Eileen lent me her Puddle Of Mudd CD, which, I guess, is okay. It's just that some songs on it (*cough*BringMeDown*cough*) just reek of Nirvana-wannabe-ness. Or maybe I'm just too difficult, heh. (Listening to it right now, btw.) So yeah, anyway. We made great plans! :D Next summer, the three of us and four other friends (Blue, Sandrine, Adeline -#2-, and Fab) are taking a big trip --possibly to NYC-- by ourselves! Because getting lost in a foreign airport would just be so fun! Yay! ::gets all giddy:: So, we're all gonna work small jobs here & there and save up money all year and then... bye-bye the 'rents! We'll all be 18, then, and Ade and Fab and maybe Blue will definitely have their driving licenses. Yey! So after we settled that, we were completely dehydrated, from, you know, getting all hyper over it and stuff, so we walked to some shabby cafe and got sodas, which we took back to the beach and drank while eying hot guys in their swimsuits. :P

Mmyeah, so this morning. My mom had the hardest time getting me out of bed, heeee! It's only when she threatened to throw a glass o' water in my face that I got my lazy ass up, LOL. The reason she wanted me to up so early (erm, 11:00) was that two of my aunts were coming to visit at 11:30, one of which had never been to this apartment, so she wanted me to clean my desk before they got here and she showed Aunt T.T. the "grand tour". I didn't clean it, though, 'cause they got here early. Like, five minutes early. Whatever. My cousin Lichao and our friend Morgane tagged along. Lichao wanted me to burn RHCP's "Californication" CD for her, but then she forgot to take it when they left. Oh well. Maybe next time.

And lastly... I found out this evening that I'll be leaving for a few days at my Aunt Annaig's house tomorrow morning. I'm seeing my cousin Marion again, yay! :) No access to the 'net from there, though. I'm gonna MISS you guys! :( But it'll be fun, hopefully. So this is "bye" for a few days. Bye! ::waves:: Gotta go pack now!
