May be in the minority, but I loved this week's House!

- Laura Innes directed. It's great, because I think she's a really good director, and also, these things:
• Kerry Weaver has a limp! Whoo!
• Omar Epps was on ER a long, long time ago. There was this scene here where Foreman had his lab coat buttoned and I immediately took that as a shoutout to Dennis Gant.
• House actually performs medical acts. Like, three of them in one and the same episode! First he tried to shove that thing in Powell's mouth when he wanted to test his lungs, then the other thing when the surgery went bad and he had to puncture(?) a lung (or something), and finally the whole intubing/bagging thing that followed the lethal dose of morphine. THREE THINGS. It's huge. I don't know if he did as many in the whole of season 2. This episode was probably written that way, but I get a kick out of imagining Innes giving advice or even just questioning what Laurie was doing. ("Are you sure you're doing that right? On ER, we do it like this.") Yeah, I need to get a life. >_<
So anyway, now I'm getting way ahead of the times in wishing she would tape an audio commentary for this episode when they release the DVDs. How great would that be?

- So much love for Chase! He stayed. ♥ I love that he's the one who's been with House the longest, and that he trusts him so blindly still. Also because he's worked with House longer than Cameron and Foreman have, I wonder if he's ever actually seen House euthanize someone. Didn't Wilson say he's done it before? (Could this be my excuse to rewatch the episode again? You bet it will be!)

- Big shock here, Cameron didn't annoy me this week. I'm surprised, myself. But this is the Cameron I like, stubborn but not pushy or inappropriately pissy like in the season premiere; relatively naive but not entirely stupid and/or boneless. Another big surprise, I really REALLY enjoyed House and Cameron's scenes - even the very end, yep. I'm getting a sense, which I know is nothing but wishful thinking, that Cameron is finally beginning to see House as her boss/mentor, someone to learn from and defer to; rather than a sick puppy needing her love to be healed. See? Obviously wishful thinking. *glares at TPTB* Oh, "You do know you can't actually pierce me with those stares?" Heh! XD

- Prescription theft not addressed (woe!) but "(...) we're also not stealing samples from the pharmacy (...)" + spoilers for the storyline David Morse will be involved in = I'm assuming this is where House gets his pills from in the interim. However little sense as that may make.

- LMAO at House speaking into Cuddy's (really ugly) pin. "And you're a pig." That was such an excellent scene. There should be MORE CUDDY SCENES, damnit! :(

- Too little Wilson and too little Cuddy. Speaking of whom, House doesn't seem to be holding any big grudges. Maybe some passive aggressivity, as showcased by some of the things he says to them in more or less unrelated conversations, but overall they seem to be okay, pretty much. Which was the easy way out for the writers. Now let's wait for the angsty fic!

- LOL at House's fangirl. I'm not sure what to think yet. I'm quite sure I'll know by next week.

- The music montages need to stop! I love John Mayer, and this week's wasn't a horrible terrible song, but uuuugh. IT IS CHEESY. AND UNNECESSARY. Network meddling at work, I bet.

- Random!YAY of the episode: no New Balcony of Inexplicable Set Changes to be seen. YAY!

- Oooooh but speaking of balconies! House dragged a potted tree next to the dividing wall on his and Wilson's. :( Made me sad.

- I liked PoTW this week!

Aaand that is all.

for someone who loves ER so much, you sure don't know what a chest tube looks like. :-p

I actually watched this one(missed last week's) and I love it. It will pain me not to watch next week(or in the future) as they're being taped for me and recorded to DVD. I love TIVO, I hate conflicting schedules!

LOL, it's actually been years since I last watched ER :( Which is sad, but they don't deserve me. :p I might tune in again when the Luby v2.0 episodes air on French TV. ;)

Oooh, last week's was great, too. At least it's good that they're being taped for you, then you can have a mini marathon or something. :D

Ah, conflicting schedules! That's the main downside to quality TV, I think. These past couple of seasons, there have been so many good shows that deserve attention, it's hard to keep track even of the select few (I use the term "few" loosely ;)) we choose to follow.
