adelineI thought I was reading a West Wing spoiler on who the new VP candidate would be, so I got all happy and everything because it clearly implied it would be Sam(!!♥) and I've been wanting it to be him, for two main reasons which are the following:
- in a season 3 episode, Bartlet looks him in the eye over a game of chess and affirms very confidently, "Sam, you'll run for President one day." Obviously that was very sweet, and I've wanted ever since for it toactually happennot ever be ruled out by any canon event that might follow. So if the show ends with Sam Seaborn as Vice President to Matt Santos, in my mind at the very least he will be the obvious candidate for office when both Santos' terms are up. To me, it'll give a sense of 'coming full circle' to the whole thing.
- Josh/Sam can forever live on in fanon. Hee! No, seriously, it'll be like the original team is reunited or something. Minus Leo, obviously. :( And Toby, but him I figure can be hired on Sam's or even Josh's staff. And CJ, well she... Crap, I did not think this through. LOL! Oh well, I just want Sam to be the new VP!
BONUS REASON: if Lowe's guest appearances are only as Mallory's husband, for Leo's funeral and such, I will be pissed as hell and chances are John Wells & minions will owe me a brand new laptop.
So I was pretty ecstatic to read that bit of info, only to find that it was, in fact, merely some random TWOP guy's friggin' speculation! Damnit! I mean, damnit! Who relays and links SPECS labelling them as SPOILERS??! It should be a crime. I need the spoilers already!
