Whoa. House was incredible!
Dr. Gregory House, I hate you a lot. ZOMG SO MUCH CONTEMPT. I need some time to think. Pathetic, sad, lonely, lovable old man. Damnit. Damnit. He's a jerk. At times I was struck by how much of a caricature of himself he was being (written as), but obviously, the twist at the end skews my whole view. Damnit, House.
TEH DUCKLINGS FTW! Okay, so they were being VERY annoying in the beginning, and quite a few cameronneries, but... but... D'AAAAWWW!! WTF CHASE MADE ME CRY!??! (I hate you, House. HATE!) And look at them so gleeful and happy at the end! ZOMG. I heart them kids a whole dang lot, sometimes.
Oh, and Teh Scene Of Doom. I was a very, very brave little fan and did not ever cover my eyes! :o I KNOWZ! Somebody give me a medal of some sort now, I deserve a prize! Because, my gods, was that zoom-in/fake-slo-mo corny. *_*
Also in the 'weird' column: I'm seriously enjoying the Cam/Chase. Especially the Chase, heh. But yes, they are squishy and adorable, omg.
Oh, also! THE PIANO! ♥♥ Hee. It was great to see/hear Hugh play. And I read that Dave Matthews picked up the instrument specifically for the part, which, zomg, impressive. I love DMB lots and lots, so this was great. (What did you think, Caro?) Though, for the hemispherectomy (sp?), BWAHAHAHAR at the obviousness of the fakery. >_<
Cuddy wins at life forever. "Call the Make-A-Wish Foundation." LOLOLZ! Also, Wilson's* little speech? House Vs. The World '07 Remix Redux? Well, hey, he did very much NOT PUSH CUDDY AWAY, HEEEE!
*Why yes, I did save the best (okay, my favorite) for last. DR. JAMES WILSON I LOVE YOU LIEKWHOA. <3♥♥♥<3♥ I need more Wilson icons. You can never have too many Wilson icons. Especially from this episode, considering how HAWT he was in it. Damn. And he lectured House again, lolz! You know, it would be VERY ANNOYING if he weren't actually right on the money so much of the time.
The scene outside with Wilson and Cameron got cut short! :O In the preview, it showed Wilson telling her "You can't tell ANYONE!" Also, no opening Massive Attack! ;_; This was the first time ever. Woe! I conclude from all this that the episode ran long, and possibly might have been a two-parter if it weren't for American Idol. All the ingredients were there! Special guest stars? Check. Main character's life at stake? Check. (Disgusting) ship pandering stunts? Check.
Overall great episode, even despite the ham, and House's general assholishness! Yay!

Date: 2007-03-08 07:58 pm (UTC)Shipwise, House/Cam is possibly the most ridiculous of all pairings in the history of TV. Personally, my preference goes to the good ship House/Wilson, but since that's gonna happen around the same time Mars becomes habitable, I am all for House/Cuddy, indeed. :D
Chase is adorable. I teared up! Because he thought House was DYING, zomg. <\3

Date: 2007-03-08 12:17 am (UTC)Dave Matthews learnt piano just for that part? I always thought he was a piano whiz anyway... or maybe I'm thinking of someone else?
I don't know what I thought of the episode - it wasn't one of my favourites, but it had a bunch of lovely bits: "I Don't Like Mondays" + handclaps = FTW! "Call the Make-A-Wish Foundation", Chase!hug etc.
I fast forwarded through the kiss, because
I'm five and kissing is grossssit was one of those awkward and embarassing moments. But man, it seemed to go on for ages.no subject
Date: 2007-03-08 08:06 pm (UTC)molesthold him forever. ♥That's what someone said in a recent issue of the American TV Guide, if I recall correctly, but it did surprise me a little. He's basically a guitar god, but I figured he would know some piano at least.
LOL, I understand. The directorial choices in that scene, they were completely BAFFLING. It's like they WANT their audience mocking them and the pairing. Mission accomplished.

Date: 2007-03-08 12:59 am (UTC)Wow, you really do deserve a medal! I totally hid under the blanket 'till it was over. And even my parents expressed their grossed out feelings - hee!
BWAHAHAHAR at the obviousness of the fakery.
OMG, I know. Seriously.
Cuddy and Wilson FTW. Hearts.

Date: 2007-03-08 08:11 pm (UTC)Yesssss you do! I have, like, eight different Wilson icons, and that's NOT counting the House/Wilson (six) and the one Cuddy/Wilson. LOLZ I HAVE 15 WILSON ICONS AND IT'S STILL NOT ENOUGH!! <3
