This one was a bitch to obtain. Best of luck to my comrades in various similar predicaments disabling them from watching the episode in a timely fashion. Here's hoping next week's isn't such a fiasco.



Hee, beginning montage! Was great. I've missed Mohinder's narration, I'm not even kidding. And! They showed Sylar's ice-cream moment again, LOL! And did you see the SMILE on Mohinder when Molly hugged him? Guh. Anyhow...

Nice shout-out to the pilot with the attendance rate at Mohinder's lectures. Aw. I have a feeling I'm going to hate Midas Goldman something fierce. Unless he dies quickly. Could he be one of the nine eight?

You know what? I'm not going to do this in a linear way, because for now I mostly just want to squee/spaz out/remark on a few things:

- I really like Maya and Alejandro already. I felt for them, somehow. And the Spanish is nice and boosts my ego when I manage to grasp a few words without reading subtitles. Which happens a LOT more than with the Japanese (from which I can only identify simple isolated words). Anyhoo! Speaking of newbies, West = creepy. Takezo Kensei = mwahaha I love him already. Yaeko seems cool, too.

- HOW AWESOME WAS HRG? LMAO! So much win. So much!

- Emo Nathan! I totally called it. Omg. He is WEARING PETER'S CLOTHES, guys. When Ando bumps into him at Kirby Plaza? That's totally Peter's coat from the first couple of episodes. Oh, beautiful denial! The angst is amazing. A fangirl somewhere was heard squealing "ADLHFADK;LKHSFAH," and that also sums up my thoughts quite well, I have to say. And when he talks back to his mom and tells her to GTFO? Oh, I cheered. By the way, in case it wasn't clear by Nathan's state in this episode, he has officially resigned from his Junior Senator position. Poor emo baby.

- Kaito and Ando were quite heartbreaking, too, in their dedication to Hiro. Aw. I wonder what Ando will be doing, now that Kaito's been killed. I hope Angela dies. But early promos have her interrogated by Parkman ("Who wants revenge, Mrs. Petrelli?"), so I'm afraid it won't be for a while. Damnit.

- I was afraid I might be a little, if not outright bored, only mildly interested in the Ancient Japan storyline with Hiro, but I'm happy to say I was completely wrong. Hee. Looks quite fantastic, after all.

- Matt divorced! What about little Matthew Jr.? :( BUT. That was not a happy marriage, and it also means Mohinder was there for Matt as he was going through not only recovery from the 4 bullets he took in the chest but also the falling apart of his homelife, and, omg, IT CAN IS FANFIC TIEM NAO PLS? I can't get over the cuteness and fluffdom of Molly living with both Matt and Mohinder.

- Bennet family dinner ftw. Sandra cracked me up soooo much. "The Bennets were thrown lemons, and what did we make?" "..." "..." "..." "..." "..." "..." "... uh, lemonade?" "Exactly!" ROFL. Lyle's hair also gave me some lulz. But oooh, there is a Bennet/Momo team-up of asskickery! Awesome.

- Claire called Nathan!! :o :D Meaning he must have given her his number at some point, which... Makes me squee a lot inside. It also didn't sound like that was the first time she called him. Her reasons for wanting to talk to him also broke my heart in a happy sort of way. Theirs is SUCH a bittersweet rapport. I love it.

- I don't know yet what to think of Nathan's reflected image in the mirror. I don't think I'm supposed to, so that's alright. Nevertheless, ew, gross. I'll take The Beard over the Kruger-face ANY DAY. The beard was kind of hawt, actually. Or I'm biased. Whichever's more likely.

- ETA: *facepalm* I can't believe I almost forgot Peter. "Where are the iPods?!" LMAO, that is so totally what I'd ask a nekkid Milo if I found him handcuffed in a box. Not. Anyhooters... Amnesia! Helix necklace! *gasp* ELECTRI-freaking-CITY! *double-gasp and o-face* That looked so cool. I can't wait to find out how he ended up there. That situation he's in now should prove quite interesting to (try and) get out of, as well. Hee.

In the finale already, she was asking Noah where home was, after watching her uncle and bio-father fly off into uncertainty. From the premiere, you could really tell the dynamics within the Bennet household were beginning to shift more or less drastically, no matter their intentions. I LOVE IT.

Adrian and Milo are actually almost exactly the same height. It's the acting and directing that makes it seem like Nathan is taller: a great little detail that I *love*. But more muscular...compared to Season 1 Peter, definitely yes. The coat and shirt definitely did not fit very well. Ah, Nathan. :D

You know what I meant :P I dont understand either. I don't understand the different colours subtitles btw. I think you mentioned it in a post before? What if Dania and Maya cross paths? Different languages = different colours? It doesn't make sense to me because if we have different people/languages talking on Dutch TV it's still all just white subtitles.

But, yeah, I thought the little outburst of violence was a very effective way to show that despite all the precautions he endeavors to adopt, he's really cracking under the weight of those pretenses. He's too uncomfortable with moral lines of conduct! Hee!
Heh some people were saying it was a really bad idea for HRG to do that but seriously I think he wasn't thinking about it. After 4 months of suffering that annoying twerp anyone who has been his own morally gray middle management would have an outburst like that.

And here the thought strikes me that Nathan could seek revenge for the elder generation's sacrifice of (and general contempt for) Peter's life. :o Not that I think he would actually kill the remaining members of that group, but the NYPD might suspect he has a solid motive, if they stop and think about it.
Yeah I heard a theory about Nathan being the one that is takign down all those people but at least the one who KO'd Kaito can't have been him because A. His/Her build was kinda small compared to Nathan's and B. Kaito seemed to know the person...
As for the NYPD suspecting Nathan...well the NYPD don't even know the whole Peter-is-bomb theory and so how would that work? Maybe Matt could suspect Nathan and read his mind giving us some awesome deep insight YAY
