Hehe, thanks, Z! All done reading? I'll throw in an additional anecdote or two.
- At the Fnac signing, we were told to remain seated until our turn was up. We were really close to the cast's tables, but because so many people stood in between, we could hardly see them. At some point, Jack stood up to take off his jacket because it was so hot in the room, and as soon as he sat back down, we started chanting "Strip! Strip! Strip!" and HE ROSE UP AGAIN TO GLARE AT US FAUX!EVILLY. We grinned and waved. LMAO.
- ... wait. I swear I had more, but I also have a very sucky memory right now. Idk, they are all BEYOND cute? Like, Milo asks people if he can borrow their pens (as opposed to just grabbing any random proferred sharpie). And he STRAIGHTENED HIS TIE before taking the picture of Zarina and himself. <3 I think Adrian's dorkiness speaks for itself and I hearts it so much omgs. I have him videoing on video, ha! (See below.) Jack seemed to revel the most in teh krazy fan wuv, and they are all SO protective of Hayden, it's adorable! IOW, this cast is 100% dskhjfkahlskjkjask;ls.
- As I've bragged about elsewhere, I took Zarina's picture with Adrian, and I was absolutely shaking like a leaf in the fall. I'm only bragging about this because it gave him the most GUHtastic smile, as you can see in the first and third links above. Haha, I was like, "uh, hold on, the picture can't possibly come out great since I'm shaking so much," and Adrian was like, "lolz, yeah." I have 0 shame. :D Also, hiscrazy bed hair ftw!! My love for it knows no bounds.
- The London Eye thing was totally crazy. LMAO, running after cars and memorizing plate numbers. Insane/Fun. Mentally liquid, for sure. Again, Dennis Hammer is a brilliant fella.
- David Schwimmer at Cactus TV, wtflolz! Totally unexpected and wondersome. Everyone was like, "omg! OMG!" Hee. And, CheeseMan was über-übercool. ("We're wearing the same tie!" LOLS.)
- I failed epicly at Abbey Road, I don't even care if that's a real word. We behaved for all of the shoot, and then approached tentatively, Hayden and Jack were on the sidewalk signing and chatting while Milo was doing Lord-knows-what and Adrian was idly WAITING just a couple yards further with no one around. AND I DI'INT C HIM THAR AT ALL. *HEADWALL*
I've seen videos since, and he's clearly all, oh, *bored* *signs for stalker!dude* *bored nao* and just, I'm sooo kicking myself. But eh, at least I ran no risk of becoming annoying there, did I? Anyways. They almost left a prop (fake license plate) behind so I called after Milo, saying they forgot something, and he promptly told off Jack after retrieving it. And then I told him, "we could have sold this on eBay, you know" and he walked off towards the bus, shaking his head and looking down. Lulz.
- Next time I got anywhere near them was the LFCC, and I was completely tongue-tied while Adrian signed my autograph. It seriously went something like,
Adrian: Hi, how are you?
Me: Great, thanks.
*giant blank while he takes his time carefully shaping each letter*
Adrian: There you go, Adeline. [This is when I died for about the 98674th time.]
Me: Thanks so much.
Adrian: You bet.
Me: See you later. *starts to leave*
Adrian: Oh yeah?
Me: Yeah, photoshoot.
Adrian: 'k.
*FACEPALM*
He looked SO FREAKING HAWT, omgs. I blame my speechlessness/idiocy on him, really. I'm sure I must have physically actually flailed at some point.
Later, at the photoshoot, I went in and was like, "hey again! Hi, Milo!" and they both said hey and then our pic was taken, and before I left I told Adrian "good luck with Atlanta" but he didn't hear quite right and made me repeat, only with his ear closer to my face and I'd just like to take a moment of pause here to tell you HOLY MACKEREL! INTERGALACTIC GRAND FLAIL!! dskjhfalhjkldj. Srsly. But I was brave and diligently fought back any violent urges to touch/lick/molest (THERE WAS NASCENT STUBBLE, GUYS!) and just repeated more articulately (I deserve a frakking medal). He thanked me, I beamed, and then I told Milo "good luck with Pathology" and he thanked me also, and then I left. As a point of reference, it took about five times as long to write this paragraph than the actual time over which these events took place.
So, yeah. I had a great time at the convention, also with Jack Coleman, Dom Monaghan and William Mapother (yay Will!). And thieving the Zachary Quinto picture from the cardboard advert for Eclipse, hee. Later on, Carmen took the Henry Ian Cusick from the advert for Lockdown, but a ShowMasters staffer caught her in the act and she had to give it back, ROFL.
