Mohinder glanced up. "Yes?'
The nurse gave him a friendly smile. 'Matt is awake now. I told him that you and the young lady came in with him and he's insisting he see's you both.'
Mohinder gave the sleeping girl in his arms a gentle nudge and whispered in her ear. 'Matt's awake honey.' Molly gave a yawn and slid off his lap, giving a little stretch before taking hold of the older man's hand and following the nurse down the hallway.
She led them to a small room and opened the door to let them in. 'Don't push him too hard, he needs his rest.' she warned before closing the door behind her.
Mohinder let his eyes wander over the figure in the bed, surrounded by machines and tubes. Matt was lucky to be alive. He smiled as Molly let go of his hand and wandered over to hold Matts. At her touch, he opened his eyes.
'Hey kiddo.' His voice was hoarse and he sounded tired. Molly grinned and squeezed his hand tighter. "I'm so glad you're alive Officer Parkman.' He gave a small smile back, 'yeah me too kid.'
He raised his eyes to meet Mohinders gaze. 'So considering I'm still here-'
'Barely.'
Matt snorted a laugh then winces in pain. 'Yeah. Just about. So the bomb?'
Mohinder moved closer, speaking in hushed tones. 'It was Peter. But Nathan saved the day would you believe it.'
'Are they alive?'
'I don't know.'
'Sylar?'
'He was stabbed through the chest but-' Mohinder shrugged his shoulders. 'I think he got away Matt. I'm sorry.'
Matt sighed. 'I'll get the bastard. I'll hunt him down when I get out of here. I can take Ted with me to nuke his ass! I think he'd enjoy that.'
Mohinder frowned.

'Why did Peter lose control like that? Where did he get that ability from?'
'Ted Sprague. Peter originally absorbed it from him. But I think that when he lost control he was actually losing control of Sylar's abilities.'
'Wait.. so Sylar has that ability too?'
'No. I overheard one of the police officers talking about a terrorist they had captured being killed during transport.'
'So..?'
'That was Ted. Sylar killed him. None of this would have happened if I had left Ted where he was. I shouldnt have brought him to the city.'
* * * *
'What? Suresh why are you looking at me like that?'
Mohinder took a deep breath. 'Ted's dead, Matt. Sylar killed him.'
Matt closed his eyes and sighed. 'Dammit!'
