Again, Heroes, OMFG ILU!!

I kept pushing off going to bed last night, and before I knew it, it was 3AM. So I decided to push until 4:30 and start my download immediately. And then I stayed up until it was done. And then I watched the episode, and holy crap, was it all worth it!

The Hiro/future!Hiro interactions were so great. "I scare me." Heee! And the whole thing with Ando, awww. I almost got misty eyed when Ando was looking for a piece of 'his' Hiro in the post-nuclear terrorist. "So my friend is still in there, somewhere." GAH. You guys are too cute. Also, at the very end, when 'our' Hiro and Ando are reunited and all but jump in each other's arms, you can see a twinge of longing pass over future!Hiro's face. <\3 It's so tragic. The contrast between the two is just... heartbreaking? By the by, was it me, or is future!Hiro kinda really hot, too?

Speaking of hot. OMG TOO MUCH HOT IN THIS EPISODE! I feared a case of sudden-onset meningitis, for realz. There was Peter (dkjhkjadhs), Mohinder (OMG MOHINDER!!1!), fake!Nathan (GUH! *insert much keysmash here*), Sylar (teh krazy hair for the lolz!), the Haitian (albeit in a menacing way) and... MATT! AND PETER. PETER WAS EXTRA HOT THIS WEEK.

BUT MATT!! Holy crap, I loved the heck out of bad-ass Matt! Seriously! Is that weird? LOVED HIM, whereas I've never been too enthused about the character before. Oh gods, he killed people left and right (HRG!! :o Ohnoez!) and I STILL LOVED HIM LEIKWOAH. Him and his greying hair. Okay, yes, I am weird. But dudes... He was awesome. The bit about his family was touching, too. (Yaaay, kid's got a power!) Also, amongst my most favoritest lines ever: "Harder to believe than hearing other people's thoughts?" "... Yeah, it is." Hahahahahar, his face!! I love it.

Guys. It has finally happened. I've had my Peter Petrelli epiphany. I adored this more assertive Peter. No more lost puppy, nope. Gods. He was grand. I took notice of Milo's excellent performance, too. "It was MEEE!!" omg *blood runs cold* His usage of powers was so cool! STOPPING TIME FACE FTW OMG!!1! And I can actually SEE the Peter/Niki thing, which, y'know, WHAT? He is that good. WHYYYYYYY WAS THE FINAL FIGHT CUT OFF DAMNIT? Damn you, Hiro, just this once.

This leads me to Sylar. There is SO MUCH to be said, I don't even know where to start.

• MY OTP IS SO CANON OMGYAYZ!!1! O_ô "You haven't slept for 5 years, Mohinder." AND YOU WOULD KNOW THIS HOW, PRAY TELL?! *squee* AND THE TOUCHING, OMGZ. And poor Mohinder's being fooled again, haha, I LOVE IT. Oh, man, there was so much fodder for fanfic jammed into this episode. Not just Sylar/Mohinder(/Nathan), either.
  
• Nathan blamed the nuking of NY on Sylar! roxx0rz! \m/ And Sylar is pissed? ADDED BONUS. Gods, I love this show. So there's a hint of revenge as well in Sylar's motive for killing Petrellis, wunderbar!
  
• NO ONE BUT PETER KNOWS IT WASN'T HIM FKHAKJHGKJhgkjvfdbchjv!!1! Resulting in the misinformation of Hiro and Ando. Resulting in... Fuck, I can't wait.
  
• Was he using his freeze power at the end with Peter? Because that would be SO UBER EXCELLENT sflkSKJH!! I've been waiting for him to use it since those poor saps were found frozen and tin-canned at their dinner table in episode 2. Hey, maybe he can use THAT to stop the exploding man? ZOMGYISPLZ!!

HRG is so much win. Gods. SO MUCH WIN RIGHT THERE. Guh.

Claire, uh, not a lot of Claire, come to think of it... BECAUSE HIRO WAS WRONG ABOUT IT ALL, OMGZ! BECAUSE OF NATHAN AND PETER. PETRELLI!! HOW VERY TRAGIC. CLAIRE IS ACTUALLY QUITE IRRELEVANT LOLOLOL! Her fiancé, surprisingly, was cutesome and none-too-annoying. Score 1 more for the casting department.

MOHINDERRR. YOU ARE SO HAWT OMG. The bit at the end when he's writhing against the door made me LOL SO HARD, though. I mean, look:

LMAO, you're absolutely right. Beeman mentioned that part, actually, and said he was disappointed they couldn't do it as originally planned (Peter TK'ing Sylar through the window) because it made so little sense for Sylar to be taken out so easily.
Yes I feel very sad they cut this :( It was the spoiler Kristin had months ago: "Sylar will fall through a window and die." I wanted to know how he came back from the dead!!

Hm, that's a tough one. In the world future!Hiro came from to tell Peter about his mission, the explosion was still caused by Peter, regardless. If you strip identities away from the concept, what remains is that the exploding man has to be killed before he has a chance to go off and wipe out NY. In order for this to be done, he must not get the power to regenerate. So it is/was really Nathan and Peter's mistake, hiding the truth, that prevented Hiro from stopping the right exploding man. Of course, nobody asked Hiro to go back and stop it, but no more harm was actually caused by his intervention.

Because if anything had changed in the past to prevent NYC to explode it would've been seeable in the future. But it wasn't. NYC had exploded... You can't say: "But that's because they hadn't changed the past yet" because if they will at once point (which I find highly unlikely) it should've influenced our view on the future already...

Well, that's the thing - in the future that we saw, Hiro had not yet gone back to tell past!Peter anything, and he still exploded. I guess Peter would have met other superabled people anyway; and there were always Nathan, his mom, then he found Chandra's book and Mohinder, met Eden, met Isaac... Who knows who else he would've come across? I don't think Peter exploded because future!Hiro sent him on that quest to StCStW, I think he was bound to explode no matter what. Meeting Claire and absorbing her power merely allowed him to survive the blast and live to blame the innocent villain.
As far as future!Hiro knows, the timeline is : Sylar kills cheerleader -> Sylar can't be stopped -> Sylar blows up the city. So he tells Peter to save Claire, to keep Sylar from being indestructible, because he thinks if they can kill Sylar in time, the bomb will never happen. Now, we know that's not true. If f!Hiro had known the real cause for the explosion was Peter, he might've gone to somebody else (Niki? Isaac??) and told them something else. As things stand in the future that we saw, changes occured in 2006 - Claire was saved indeed, met Nathan - but those were tiny changes with regards to the explosion of New York, so nobody in 2011 even notices a difference.

I don't actually blame f!Hiro for making or letting the bomb happen. For that, I blame f!Peter and f!real!Nathan (by proxy). f!Peter especially KNEW how bent f!Hiro was on changing the past and saving Ando New York, so if he'd just TOLD him who really was the bomb, then we can surmise a better outcome for f!Hiro time jump. Of course, that would involve the ultimate self-sacrifice on Peter's part and while I believe present-day Peter could have it in his heart, f!Peter seems to have lost a lot of that instinctual altruism.

With all that being said, if they effectively change history and Peter doesn't explode, I vote for Ted. But I have the beginnings of a headache now, lolz, so I won't go into details. :p

Oh, definitely, I agree. I view the span of that evolution as a linear spectrum, the ends of which are the Gabriel of, say, seven months ago and the Sylar who just recently cut off Isaac's skull. We've seen our boy oscillate between those two extremes, but lately it's been mainly towards the psychopathic bastard pole, and I was thinking maybe seeing his mom will pull him closer to the opposite end, the adorkable geek extraordinaire. ♥ Or that's my hope, anyways.

Maybe Hiro had not gone back in time, but say he goes back in time two days from the future we saw it would've changed the past and present and thus the future we saw; thus he's the reason for the bomb. It's complicated, but in my head I am right :P

Nah don't think I am on at around 11; I am bored to death >.< I tried finding some new ZQ TV-shows but I can't find any torrents and I miss my TV-shows/movies on my laptop SO much. And I am too lazy to run upstairs to get a DVD or something... So I might watch some TV upstairs later.

Thanks. It was a really good show, they honored him in a dignified way and while it was ultimately heartbreaking, the message was one of hope. They ended with the last song he ever recorded, just last month, first one he wrote, too. And it was just... slkdhfjkadhjKKJAFJKdsf. His body was literally for the lose, but his spirit? SRSLY MADE OF WIN. <3
