Thoughts on Heroes, before I respond to anyone else's.

- Hiro is made of win. "Waffles are very good. You would like them!" LMAO. See? Made. Of. Win. His dad = pwned. His sister was nice, I guess. Interesting that the actress's name was actually Nakamura. While on the subject of names, I briefly wondered why, if it belonged to the Nakamura family, the company is called Yamagato. And then I remembered it wasn't likely to have much relevance in the future, so I killed that thought.

- Sylar is creepy. Creepier than ever, even. I'm glad Mr. Muggles wasn't harmed.

- "It's SO FUNNY how y'all all call him Mr. Bennet over there! I've always just known him as Stop-That-You-No-More-Shoes." Heh, some writer was poking some fun. Still, STYNMS is a much more pronounceable acronym than HRGM is, you've gotta admit. "Stynms." Try it. "Hrgm" just sounds like a mix of a grunt and a huff gone wrong.

- And wow, does Stynms have good aim. (Pfft, no, not even his driver's license had a first name on it.)

- Claude has the best lines! And also, he's a total whack-job. I did the whole OMGOMGOMG, hand-over-mouth, eyes-protruding-in-shock shebang when he threw Peter off the roof like that! :O I know Peter can't and won't die until at least season 15, but it was... shocking.

- Also, Mista Issaaaac! You sneaky little cute puppy betrayer you! What happened to make him go from "o yayz Peter saved the cheerleader heeeee! :D" to, "Oh, you're looking to catch Peter Petrelli? Yeah, I'll help with that!" ?? Would that be related to Eden's untimely demise? DAMN YOU POST-FALLOUT TWO-WEEK GAP, DAMN YOU TO HELL. Also, I always reconstruct (Petrelli) canon in my head, and Nathan totally sicced Isaac on Pete, too. You know it. Only, the little handsome devil calls STYMNS first, damnit. :( I'd resent him a lot more if he weren't so earnest in wanting to protect Simone, and New York City. I blame Santiago Cabrera.

- Jessica, free. No good can come out of that, can it?

- I'm probably seeing things where it's crazy to even look, but I swear Meredith Gordon had a baby bump under that ample shirt.

- "I always imagined my parents lived in a penthouse in New York City." Dun dun duuuunnnn. Can we get a little more foreshadowing over here, please? Tsk. Premonitory imagination could be a shared trait between uncle and niece, eh?

- Claire and Meredith had a nice scene, I'm not sure I would drink a strange-looking proferred beverage so soon after meeting someone, but what the hell? She can't die, it's moot. I wonder, when Meredith tells Claire, "Some family," in that way that she said it, was she including daddy? Does she know about his ability? She mentioned something also about the building's roof, and I immediately jumped to, "Yes, Meredith, ALWAYS question the 'miracle'." Did Nathan fly Claire out of the building unseen?

- Oh, Nathan. <3 How I fangirl thee. There was clearly shock in that look, but anything else there might have been was pretty damn unreadable. (Pasdar for the win, by the way.) Meredith says, "she's alive." Is that what the shock's all about? Has he thought Claire dead all this time? And who in the Petrelli clan knows? Peter would have been 11, has he known his baby niece at all? Or, has Nathan known she lived and kept tabs on her all along? Is the shock about her finding Meredith? Did he know what high school she goes to? Oh! Think of the fanglee when Nathan finds out it's her Peter saved - no matter his actual feelings on that. So many questions *cough*plotbunnies*coughcough*, so little time until next episode...

- Also, because I can't stop myself: yes, people, genes are passed down from parents to children and grandchildren. IT'S THE ONLY WAY GENES ARE PASSED. I've read so many "oooh"s and "aaah"s about those family links between the superabled, and all I can think is DUH. (Though, I did fail Biology 101.) Remember Chandra Suresh? GENETICIST. Mohinder? SEXY GENETICIST. It's always been about the genes, can we get over the surprise now?

I've finished my Petrelli brothers fanmix! Hee. Well, an EP fanmix, but still. I like it. Will post as soon as I've got my hands on decent quality files and cover arts.

I was going to write a little about Studio 60, but I think I'll wait until tomorrow and bundle it in my 'House and miscellany RL' stuff post.

Big squee of the night: LOST COMES BACK TOMORROW! *SQUEE* Hence the icon. It's Claire (as in...) all HAPPY and SQUEEING and OMGYAY! It's kind of surreal, after such a long break. Was the Summer break even this long? I can't believe it's back. Tomorrow! The time has finally come. Gods, the hype!

Hiro is made of win. "Waffles are very good. You would like them!" LMAO. See? Made. Of. Win.
He's so sweet, he doesn't even realise how nerdy or naive he reacts to dangerous situations and that makes him even more awesome.

His dad = pwned. His sister was nice, I guess.
I wonder if they have powers. I mean Micah got powers from his parents, so did Claire. Also, Peter and Nathan are related so obviously got it from a parents or grandparent. I bet Hiro's father can kill you with his ebil look. And his sister is a shape shifter.

Interesting that the actress's name was actually Nakamura.
I didn't even knew that, that's pretty neat!

While on the subject of names, I briefly wondered why, if it belonged to the Nakamura family, the company is called Yamagato.
Any chance you have a Japanese dictionary so we could maybe find a meaning of the name?

Sylar is creepy. Creepier than ever, even.
But in a hot kinda way, right?

"It's SO FUNNY how y'all all call him Mr. Bennet over there! I've always just known him as Stop-That-You-No-More-Shoes."
Grrrr.... I am frustrated with that :P

Still, STYNMS is a much more pronounceable acronym than HRGM is, you've gotta admit. "Stynms."
From now on I'll try to solely refer the good man with "Stynms".

Claude has the best lines!
That's coz he pronounces them British *swoon*

And also, he's a total whack-job. I did the whole OMGOMGOMG, hand-over-mouth, eyes-protruding-in-shock shebang when he threw Peter off the roof like that! :O
Best description of my feelings. EVER.

I know Peter can't and won't die until at least season 15, but it was... shocking.
LOLZ

Also, Mista Issaaaac!
OMG You totally have the whole Hiro accent thing going on there, you are made of awesome!

I'm probably seeing things where it's crazy to even look, but I swear Meredith Gordon had a baby bump under that ample shirt.
Two preggers in one show at the same time? Doubtfully However, if you're right I do wonder if the baby would have powers from the womb. "He had powers from the womb?!?! Great! Like I didn't have an inferiority complex already!" *rolls eyes all Chris like* Ignore my random Charmed quote...

Can we get a little more foreshadowing over here, please? Tsk. Premonitory imagination could be a shared trait between uncle and niece, eh?
OMG b'Duh, why don't I ever think of these kinda things or pick up on them? I should really swoon and drool less while watching...

Did Nathan fly Claire out of the building unseen?
Doubtfully. He doesn't seem to me like the kind of guy who leaves his baby daughter in the greedy hands of the Stynms in the care of some random stranger

And who in the Petrelli clan knows? Peter would have been 11, has he known his baby niece at all?
Dude you even rawk at maths aaslh;alakg;g;;jkdsfhsdkghsalgas;av Ok, ehm so yeah. Good point. He would've told his parents he had a baby, right? Peter would've been to young to remember, maybe. (if it was only for such a short span of time after all).

Think of the fanglee when Nathan finds out it's her Peter saved - no matter his actual feelings on that.
*sees Petrellis hug like big time*

Also, because I can't stop myself: yes, people, genes are passed down from parents to children and grandchildren. IT'S THE ONLY WAY GENES ARE PASSED. Ehm okay yeah, so totally ignore the first part of my commentary, I completely forgot about the direction both professors taught... Told you I needa rewatch this show! Hush :P

Big squee of the night: LOST COMES BACK TOMORROW!
Three months of suffering, the inevitable with drawal taking a hold of all our LOST-fans far too fast and far too hard is finally over *sigs of relief*

I bet Hiro's father can kill you with his ebil look.
LMAO, he does seem to practice the look a lot, doesn't he?

Any chance you have a Japanese dictionary so we could maybe find a meaning of the name?
Well, I did take 2 years of Japanese for beginners, let me see if I can find a textbook again... Okay, so, "yama" = "mountain," "-ga" marks the subject, and "-to" affixes coordination or juxtaposition. That would give something akin to "near the mountain," if my interpretation is correct. (Which it's probably not.) And just for trivia's sake, "naka-" = "inside/in the middle/at the core/at the heart" and "mura" = "village". And this concludes today's lesson! ;)

Zachary Quinto is a fine-lookin' man, I'm happy to admit. Gabriel Gray, in all his geeky scrumptiousness, was kind of adorable as well. Sylar, though, I would run for my life. :p

The British accent and quick wit. I love it.

LOL, I love Hiro's accent so, so much. My favorite word that he's ever said, I think, was 'rendosuraido'. Landslide.
Hiro: Petureiri, Neisan... Petureiri... HAI, HAI! Yuu ween. Beeg ween. Rendosuraido!
Me: OMG I HEART HIM FOREVER ♥♥♥
And, I mean, "Mista Issaaaaac," is just the greatest gimmick ever. It makes me so happy every time. (As an aside, Isaac's perfect pronounciation of "Nakamura" also gives me butterflies. I'm weird that way, heh.)

Yeah, no, I doubt they'd have Meredith pregnant on the show, but it sure did make me suspicious about Jessalyn Gilsig. I'm on top of the gossip, yo! ;D (Except no really, since I don't actually know anything, LOL.) And anything that conjures up images of Drew Fuller is fine with me, by the way. XD

He doesn't seem to me like the kind of guy who leaves his baby daughter in the greedy hands of the Stynms in the care of some random stranger
But mayhaps, he his parents' money could have put her in the temporary custody of some upscale top-notch adoption agency?

PETRELLI HUGS FTW!!

I completely forgot about the direction both professors taught... Told you I needa rewatch this show!
Hehe, it happens. And if it gives you a reason to rewatch everything, then I say that's destiny! Humewa desuyo! ;)

Hmm I don't see the relevance of a mountain yet either. Unless it's another word for skyscraper (lol!) or they mean a mountain of chocolate, which is always important. I love the explanation for Nakamura though. Hiro is in the middle of it all (NYC!).

Zachary Quinto is a fine-lookin' man, I'm happy to admit. Gabriel Gray, in all his geeky scrumptiousness, was kind of adorable as well. Sylar, though, I would run for my life. :p
Dude, like seriously though. I rewatched the Gabriel scenes in "6 Months Ago" yesterday and my God, he's damn fine! I know Sylar's all creepy and the like and for some reason I have a soft spot for him, but Zach's really good looking in the not so creepy kind of way too. I am now officially totally ad completely in love with him and Sylar/Gabriel. You can't shut me up anymore... I apologise in advance.

LOL, I love Hiro's accent so, so much. My favorite word that he's ever said, I think, was 'rendosuraido'. Landslide.
Landslide huh? Well, I'll just believe that's what the word means and not something naughty :P

(As an aside, Isaac's perfect pronounciation of "Nakamura" also gives me butterflies. I'm weird that way, heh.)
Isaac's voice just gives me butterflies, whatever it is he's saying or however he is pronouncing it.

But mayhaps, he his parents' money could have put her in the temporary custody of some upscale top-notch adoption agency?
I don't think Stynms adopted Claire from an adoption agency, do you?

Hehe, it happens. And if it gives you a reason to rewatch everything, then I say that's destiny! Humewa desuyo! ;)
Like I said I rewatched "6 Months Ago" (partially) and a lot of stuff makes more sense now :) If I can find the time to rewatch some more stuff you maybe, one day, get a reply from me that's not full of thoughtless remarks...

Mountains of chocolate! OMG, best mental image!

Hehe, your fangirling of Zachary/Gabriel/Sylar is totally cute, though. *hugs*

:O Rendosuraido has naughty meanings? Tell me more! *g*

LMAO, that's true. Isaac doesn't even have to speak to give me butterflies.

I don't think Stynms adopted Claire from an adoption agency, do you?
Not really, LOL. But for argument's sake, I guess it's completely impossible. He could have adopted her the normal, legal way and found about her powers soon after, leading him to investigate those peculiar abilities.

Tsssk, your remarks are not thoughtless at all! I love getting your insight on things, especially because we don't always approach everything from the same angle. It's enriching! :D

Rather cute than psycho :P

I am sorry the images popping into my mind right now are too NC-17 to type up here o.O

He could have adopted her the normal, legal way and found about her powers soon after, leading him to investigate those peculiar abilities.
Maybe. But I rather think he kidnapped her...

Good to hear so. I know some of what I say sounds idiotic at times, but that's simply because I haven't been into this fandom long enough nor discussed it thorough enough hehe

As do I, LOL. It makes him eviller. Yay!

And, shush! That right there is the only nonsense I've heard from you. :p
