Obviously we can't really take the Haitian's word for it cause he's just reciting what HRG told him. So, in which case, I would not be surprised if it was HRG himself. That would be a nice circle and give us a perfect loop. From what we know the father hasn't been on the scene at all, and the only mentions of a male in that period of time was HRG's very presence at the mother's supposed death. It never occured to me to be him, but looking at your screencap with the business shirt, it's likely.
Again, I've still got my money on Linderman. But you've made an awesome point with Matt, and as I said to Parul that'd be an interesting situation for him to find out about 2 kids at the same time. Is it likely for him to be wearing a business shirt though? :\ And you know either Claire's daddy has a MASSIVE ring, or a bunch of them piled onto that finger. Being that everybody is only wearing one I'm still wondering what's going on. But, u know, I also wonder if they are trying to mislead us because maybe it's possible that footage has nothing to do with that phone call (and they just wanted to sit back and laugh at us speculating).
