I actually rly liked Derek :$ Yeah? I never felt as though we were given the chance, 'cause he had about 4 lines total and none of those established any character specifics. For me he was just, you know, there.
As for HRG, well, he is after all a master at 'morally gray.' I truly think he would do anything for his family.
