First an announcement: this is probably the last episode poll I'll be running. While it has truly been an honor and a priviledge to entertain all of you who have come here and voted week in and week out, the show itself has finally shocked me enough that I no longer wish to be as intellectually and/or emotionally involved as I used to be.

I regret not a moment spent on these, and I thank each and every one of you for making this all so fun for me. It's been a very enriching experience, quizzing my fellow fanfolks. I don't advertize this, but I've lost track of how many hours of sleep I've lost because I would rather wait for the first responses (and time differences are a bitch). I'm not taking my toys and going home. I'll be around lurking in fandom, probably still discussing episodes and reading fic once in while.

But, you know, we're talking Heroes here. I'm sure the weekly polls will return in some form or other, elsewhere, for Season 4. And I know I'll be there voicing my ~thoughts~. ;)

Alicia, you must be suffering from amnesia! Remember Sylelle? And the ~*~Hunger~*~? And Sylar trying to redeem himself? And Arthur? And Mohinder the Cockman? And the CONSTANT RETCONNING?! But at least Mohinder was kinda-sorta ~doing stuff~ outside of playing an MD, and there was MINT! And even the retconned horrors of Syelle can't beat the creepy and forced ~*~LOL SYLAIRE ARE LIEK THE BIGGEST RIVALS ON THIS SHOW EVAR, HAYDEN AND ZACH IS WHAT YOU GUYS WANNA SEE RITE? RITE???~*~ which is seriously a slap to the face. And speaking of slaps to the face, at least Mohinder didn't have his big resolution in a fucking graphic novel.

No, I'm pretty sure v4 is worse. But YMMV. And I know already that v5 will be a Sylaire angstfest, so I know it'll be even worse.

Why, you ask? Some time ago Greg was asked in an interview what he does when people ask him how he feels about the show sucking ass. He replied that he doesn't know, because people never tell him it does.

Now it's all lovely and good that fans aren't bombarding Grunny with comments about how his show sucks, since he's only acting on it and has no say in it sucking, but the reply made me worry that the entire show, cast and crew and all, are never ever ever actually told by anyone that their show fucking sucks and is offensive. They're all living in a bubble. Which would explain the cocky attitude of the BtE answers, say. They're actually eating their own shit hype, and don't realize that the critical questions they get are actually relevant or wide-spread. Because seriously ... how else can you explain their whole ... attitude? MAKES NO SENSE AHHHHHHHHH

I know. That really worries me too. Especially when you get these Sylaire fangirls on BtE, telling them how much they love Sylaire and asking if there will be more of it in S4. They probably think that the majority of the fans are like that. You have no idea how much I want to give them a piece of my mind at Comic Con, but I'd probably just seem insane if I did (and I don't think I'd have the time to phrase it ~diplomatically~). Ugh. I hate those smug assholes. They always come as seeming so fucking pleased with themselves. I just want to burst their fucking bubble.

Yeah. Violently. Yesterday I was getting worked up about Heroes again, and composed a snarky question for BtE in my head, but honestly, I don't think they want to get it or -- at present time -- are even capable of getting that their show. fucking. sucks. I mean, if that EW article didn't do the trick? Since no magazine has said anything about Heroes since, they might even be interpreting that to mean it's good again ... when reality is that no one cares enough to write any critical articles about it because it's obvious to anyone with a brain that the show is an embarrassment you shouldn't waste any of your time on. I'm hoping for a wake-up call for them when it gets canceled. Not sure if I want to put my money on it, though. They have zero humility.
