OMFG!?
:O
Swoosie Kurtz is so amazing. Can we keep her?
There is a model fighter jet in Nathan's office. Excuse me while I die from cute. WHYYY DO THEY KEEP DOING THESE THINGS TO ENDEAR HIM TO ME? Bastards.
Also Kimiko is freaking adorable. She and Hiro nearly made me cry towards the end.
Nathanites Never Say Die
Wtf happened to the body anywayz?!??!
lol, but seriously. NEVER EVER.
...
Hmph.
It's almost sad how hard Angela tried to help Sylar keep ahold of Nathan's persona. And as a side note, the lengths she went to, whether justified or not, to ~protect~ her children are truly astounding.
I like to think coming clean about the accident and telling the truth to Kelly's mother is the same decision Nathan would have made, and I'm comforted in this by the fact before he died, Nathan was rather keen on ~redempting~ himself. But I guess we'll never know.
Peter's going to be so sorry he dodged his calls for so long. Speaking of which, can Peter please find out about his brother's death now? Please? (Claire would be nice too, but I know not to expect too much.)
I enjoyed the flashbacks, and I was MOST PLEASED indeed to see how much Nathan looked like his son Monty as a child. ("Who is Monty Petrelli?!! KILL YOURSELF!") Of all places to find continuity... It was a neat surprise.
Mohinder Watch
Have you seen a sexy geneticist?
Nothing to report.
The fail. It is spectacular.
Okay, cool.
(I begrudgingly liked this...)
Not gonna lie, I liked about 90% of this episode although it feels a little long upon rewatch.
The ~Nathan stuff was actually good, if rushed (by which I mean it could have been stretched over several episodes). I loved all the scenes between ~Nathan and Angela, ~Nathan and Millie, Angela and Millie, and, of course, ~Nathan and Peter. (Yes, that's all of Pasdar's scenes, don't judge me.) More specifically, I love that ~Nathan was calling Angela out on her shady business, I love that the widely(?) suspected Haitian-ing of Petrelli boys is now canon, I love that ~Nathan didn't sell Angela out to Millie ("covered up by my... family"), I love Peter's outright wonderment at ~Nathan's "new" powers, I love that Nathan always was "overly theatrical" (a trait he shared with Sylar, y/n?), and I loved the editing of those last scenes around the notion of closure. I love I love I love.
Meanwhile in Tokyo, Hiro is being stubborn and refusing to ~face his destiny~, which I thought made a lot of sense given his characterization thus far. I was afraid his ultimate success in saving Tadashi, at the FORTY-SEVENTH TRY, would push him to carry on ignoring the causes and effects of his illness. It made his eventual acceptance (o hai chapter title) all the more resonant, gave it more weight. And though Kimiko hugging her little brother made me tear up, it is somehow Ando who continually breaks my heart. I've never actively resented Hiro, but if only just to see the ~emancipation~ of Ando, I'm hoping he does actually die when this arc finishes its course. Now, if I said I wasn't excited to see where he zapped off to in his last scene, I would be telling lies.
I also kind of enjoyed the HRG and Claire scenes. The parent-kid role-reversal is a little weird, but while I'm saddened by the Bennets' divorce, I'm quite interested to see how Noah copes. What can I say, I'm a sucker for drama. And so I thought his face when offering Claire a bowl of cereal was priceless lulz, and his passing aimlessness very human. Having said that, plan-less HRG is a sad thing, so I'm okay with him getting back in the swing of things - and the carnies coming after him, I guess.
I call shenanigans!
(... but let me tell you how you still suck.)
WHERE WAS HESAM? lmao. I care about the guy, I'm sorry.
The pacing was all over the place. While it seems only a few hours passed in HRG's and Hiro's scenes, it also felt like Tracy and ~Nathan's stories spanned over a couple of days. Confusing.
Tracy's story felt a little off. The way she and Malden interacted didn't add up with how they were before. And what was with that music in the beginning? lolwat. "Body double?" Har har, I c whut u did thar... :| But seriously, was the bath scene absolutely necessary? That's precious airtime that could have easily gone to Mohinder (or Hesam :p). Haha, at some point when Tracy was in the restroom looking in the mirror, I thought Jessica was going to be like, 'sup! Which would have made me cringe forever, but also brought the lulz.
Carnival scene = random much? lol. Having said that, Lydia didn't grate as much as I'd anticipated. I... actually think I like Edgar least of them all for now. I'll also take this opportunity to reiterate how lame I think it is that the Sprint commercials storyline isn't a part of the main show. Lame.

Scattered thoughts
Starting with live thoughts as I was watching (these are some of the comments I made on the ongoing post @
fly_by_day last night)
- OMFG BABY NATHAN!! MONTY LOOKS JUST LIKE HIM BTW AWWW
- OMG NATHAN HAD A FLASHBACK TO THE MELROSE PLACE v2 PILOT :O
- FISHING EXPEDITION, IS THAT WHAT THEY CALL ~IT~ THESE DAYS? XD
- I LIKE CLAIRE'S HAIR
- I LOVE ANDO SO FREAKING MUCH
- LOL OUR STREAM IS SO LAGGY, WE DON'T GET HALF OF WHAT'S GOING ON IN HIRO/ANDO SCENES
- ALSO, CHARACTER CONTINUITY! YOUNG NATHAN WAS ALREADY KEEN ON DRINKING.
- LIKE DUH! WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MINDS WOULD RUN AWAY FROM NATHAN FUCKING PETRELLI?
- COSMOS? WHAT ABOUT APPLE MARTINIS?
- EDGAR'S HAIR MAKES ME LOL
Also I hope Claire doesn't make a habit of delivering ~pearls of wisdom~ because that was just weird.
I kind of want HRG and Peter to go on the road together though, for reals.Hesam can tag along, or maybe pine and pine until Peter returns to him.
I wish we could keep Swoosie Kurtz. I don't mind her when she's not putting hits on my ~favorite characters~. Besides, I'm sure there's a mine of backstory with Angela.
Hotass o' The Week
Half the reason I keep watching

~Nathan
HBIC o' The Week
Head Bitch In Charge
Millie Hudson, no contest. How badass! Runner-up: Angela. But that's like her natural status.
Ship o' The Week
lol romance?
Ando/Kimiko. Not that there were a myriad contenders this week, but I love them anyways.
Best line
I may or may not quote this irl
"I'm just waiting for the part that makes any of this okay..."
This is how I feel about the show most of the time, LOL.
There was some good stuff this week, especially from Angela; and I'm pretty sure Jack Coleman's delivery can make any line sound awesome.
Most burning question?
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!! *flails*
HOW LONG TILL OUR UNWORTHY EYES SHALL FALL UPON THE PASDAR AGAIN? ;_;
...
Ahem. I mean. Where has Hiro unwittingly teleported himself, and is Mohinder there? :O
Overall,
I loved this episode. It was my favorite of the volume so far.Possibly for shallow reasons. I don't care.
