I am back with more TV thoughts!

V, 2x07: Siege

Here are some words I never thought I'd type: V was so good last night! Mostly owing to Elizabeth Mitchell, who can do absolutely no wrong whatsoever, ever. Godsdamn. This ep packed action and emotion and a SHITLOAD of underlying tension especially at the very end - holy crap I thought I might collapse - and a pretty cool score, too.

I can't believe it, but I even shed some tears over Joe's death. lol wat. I didn't even want him around, 'cause I'm a shameless miscreant shipping Erica with Jack. lol. That scene was so intense, though. I had to catch my breath.

I don't mind too much about Tyler living on the ship, tbh. It led to this AWESOME FANTASTIC ending and he's annoying anyways. I have to say, nonetheless, for however much I like and sympathize with Lisa, this is all almost entirely on her. She claims to love Tyler, but she's never once discreetly mentioned to him the nefarious nature of her mother's plans for him? Come on. Oh how I miss Joshua.

And now, a moment of senseless flailing: SO GLAD JACK WAS KICKED OUT OF THE CHURCH. lololol. I like the way he said "I'll be a soldier again," how it vaguely mirrored his "I wasn't always a priest" from some episodes ago. And I also really dug how he was the first to give Erica his word.

But I keep coming back to this final scene, godsdamn. HOBBES YOU TRAITOROUS BASTARD. Shit I almost can't believe it. YOU COULD CUT THE AWKWARD WITH A KNIFE. Man, if all future episodes are as good as this, I'm gonna be a very sad panda when show gets canned.

Neither here nor there: oh Ryan. How much you lost in Georgie. <\3

Last but not least, that glimmer of Jack/Chad towards the end: I can dig it. lol I may have mentioned this before.

House, 7x12: You Must Remember This

Case of the week was pretty decent. Halfway through the ep I was like, 'wtf, remembering things doesn't ALWAYS hinder forgiveness' but then they addressed that as another symptom so, alright then.

Now to the main point of this episode: HOUSE/WILSON. Oh, silly ship of mine, you keep sailing on and on and on if only ever in my mind. Seriously though, does any one of you watch this any more? I'm not making things up, right? Wilson is DESPERATELY LONELY and House lays awake at night THINKING ABOUT IT. Couple this with some extremely vague spoilers floating about regarding what lies ahead for House/Cuddy and I am rapidly reverting to my earlier shipping fervors. Sheesh. Next stop: heartbreak.

Oh and I would be remiss not to mention the sheer ADORABLENESS of Wilson as a crazy cat lady. Poor lonely James. I don't think he wants any lady - any one at all. I think he misses House and he doesn't know what it means. (LOL HERE I GO AGAIN.)

I also have to say, nothing against Foreman personally, but jfc this whole thing with Taub??! That should be Kutner in his place! I think it's so great that Kal Penn is doing the work he's doing now, but I am so not over the Kutner tragedy - I'll never be. Taub/Kutner forever, man. I loved them. He would've been so PERFECT for this. Sigh.

lol out of 12 episodes in this season so far, I've truly enjoyed one. That's sad.

If there's a resurgence in House/Wilson, maybe I should be watching ... Huddy kind of scared me away.

The last thing I'd want to do is raise false hopes, so I'll let you know how the next few episodes unfold in this regard. (Those spoilers I read? Pretty much [highlight]spell out the end of Huddy. Of course TPTB have toyed with us many times before, so I'll believe it when I see it.)

Oh man, if that happened, I'd definitely come back. I probably should've stuck with the show this season anyway, but I have so much else on Monday nights, it just slipped right by. Definitely keep me posted!

You know, I was really bothered by Cuddy in this episode because I've always felt that she's the only one outside of House/Wilson that understood why they were friends and how they felt about one another. But the things she was saying to House about his relationship with Wilson in the episode just...really got under my skin and i'm not sure why.

but otherwise? i loved the episode and everything about House and Wilson and their messed up relationship and how lonely my poor bb Wilson is.

Maybe she's understanding too much, precisely, and because her relationship with House (ugh) has evolved into its current state, perhaps there's a conflict of interests there. Whatever though, when she says House's happiness doesn't take away from Wilson's? He's not buying it.
