Now that the initial spazzing and capslocking and flailing is out of the way, I'll... try to refrain from indulging in similar urges again.
"Previously on Heroes" in Japanese!! How frakking excellent is that? ♥
Oh, poor Isaac. And Peter. But ISAAC! But Peter. (Oh, and Simone. I guess.) Isaac is back on the smack! Yay. But he's gonna die, noez! :(
And Peter was all emo and sad, and went to his Mr.-Fix-It big brother, d'aaaaawww! THEY ARE SO CUTE. And I just knew Nathan would react like that, I knew it - let Isaac take the full blame, get Peter out of trouble, and never more speak a word of it. It's interesting, by the way, how Nathan didn't at all seem surprised at Peter's invisibility, which should be new to him. Or were we deprived of a brotherly scene after Peter's didactic purse-snatching episode? (I would think we were. Scandalous!) Well, no matter. This scene was glorious.
The bit right before it, too. Nathan's been planning all along to take down Linderman! Whoopee! He really is trying to make a change in the world the only way he knows how. *pets him* Now, of course, this may look like a lame last-minute afterthought the writers came up with because 'the public doesn't like him enough' or some such drivel, but even if it were, you've got to give them props for subtlety and appropriateness. Yes, yes, they did play the secret daughter card, but hey, he wasn't molested by his nannyor violently orphaned by his own father's hand! Also, now I can gloat and be like, "See? Nathan's a good guy! I told you." Yayz!
But seriously, how awesome was he with Hiro? If you've seen the clip from Adrian Pasdar's appearance on Rachael Ray's show last week, you'll notice they cut the whole awoof/a wolf thing, but the rest of their interaction definitely makes up for it. Just the fact that Nathan stops to talk to a mopey Hiro on his way in is so heartwarming and made of squee. And Hiro's still fanboying him like mad, it's crazy and incredible. Pay attention to the look on Hiro's face when Nathan is talking to the security guards, it is just grand. I am so sure it's exactly how we would look at The Pasdar, LOL. I've seen Masi Oka's work demeaned as easy and predictable, but I couldn't disagree more with that view. I think he's amazing.
You know, I started this out planning to go chronologically, and then I started talking about Nathan and well, can't stop myself now, so let's wrap it and go on character by character. The Niki stuff was great. I am SO GLAD it wasn't Jessica waiting for him in his roomand ripping his shirt open, LOL. "You picked the wrong day to screw with me." Um. Nice choice of words. The punch made me laugh, again (gold star for the sound editors).
Lastly, the confrontation with Linderman. How can anybody look so ugly and so Santa-like at the same time? *mesmerized* Anyhow, this is where I echo Mama Petrelli's sentiment and go 'oh my gosh Nathan YOU REALLY ARE A SAP!' Oh, and the runner-up for title of this entry was: "I've been known to eat zucchinis on occasion, but not as a general rule." LOL, the dialogue is so great. Back to my point, old man Lindie waxes philosophical (to the WTFth power) and our man Nathan changes his mind? I was rooting for him to pull the trigger, I really was, eventhough at the end of the day, I am glad he isn't a murderer. But damnit, Linderman's commanded his assassination. I do like, however, that once again his Achille's heel is shown to be his ambition. It's consistent with what we've seen of him so far. (Also: he doesn't have murder in his heart.Yet?)
Moving on... Poor Matt got screwed again, eh? The guy can't catch a break! I've decided that I don't like the new girl, Candace. She had some funny lines, cute outfit, but I'm not a big fan of the attitude. Plus, she tricked HRG! Ergo, she's eeeeevil. Whatever will happen to HRG now, huh? *chews lip* I loved seeing him and his wife speak overtly of the OWI and the threat to Claire and themselves, it was kind of sweet in a really messed-up way.
Claire is awesome! I love how she got rid of the Haitian at the airport, LOL. Hayden is great, too, see how she jumps when the door to Peter's apartment opens. Back to Claire, it's remotely funny how she keeps meeting Petrellis but hasn't yet come face to face with her father. At this rate, she's going to meet Heidi and her half-brothers before she's formally introduced to Nathan! (No, yes, I did imply I was done talking about him.) The big chunk in this, of course, is Mama Petrelli's involvement with the Haitian and/or the OWI. Seriously, this show's canon history (I'd say mythology, were this Ancient Greece - and we've certainly got the drama and tragedy) gets so much more complicated with each episode!
Now, about the Sanders family, did Micah get dumb overnight, or something? He used to be able to tell the difference between Niki and Jessica over the phone, and now he can't? What gives, kiddo? The video game thing was sort of cute, though. By the by, I'm assuming Micah bought himself the PS3 with all of his free-flowing cash, until proven otherwise. They're supposed to be dirt poor, yo. And Jessica can't exactly go, "oh hay I kills peepz for money lolz!!" Looks like DL is starting to get suspicious anyway. It's about time, too.
Rejoice, Mohinder has been cured of dumbassery! And I love, love, LOVE how much Sylar was enjoying his chai/poison drink! LMAO, it's just one of those priceless things. Yummmyyy--ZZZzZzz. It appears Mohinder had found him out at least a few hours earlier, and still he kept talking about his father's research and kept up all appearances of good-natured collaborative work... Impressive acting job there, Momo. But then, as Sylar is making his case (or, in his words, offering Mohinder his life - ah, sweet, sweet love) and Mohinder reaches a huge milestone in his research, he speaks of it with a glee so genuine, I wondered for an instant if he was thinking aloud rather than TALKING TO SYLAR. That left me a bit "o_O", a bit "<\3", and a lot incapable of translating the sentiment into words.
On a different note, I am in complete fannish HEAVEN that they mentioned the Chandra/Gabriel dynamic in contrast to the Chandra/Mohinder one, which we know to have been on the crappier side. And Mohinder had better not die! Hey,
hebrew_hernia,
frayen and
bitter_crimson, did you expect him to burst into flames when Peter looked up, too? ;D Anyway, as someone said before me, for Sylar not killing somebody is like saying I love you. IAWTC. He's just hurt and bleeding a little bit, not dead. He's too pretty to die! THEY CAN'T TAKE AWAY THE PRETTY! I refuse.
Hiro and Ando-kun, yattaaaaaaa! I was so, so very happy for Hiro when it was Ando who showed up as security! Ando totally just made up for all of his past mistakes, however silly they may have been. And Hiro's got his powers back, heeee! Exciting! Though, the sight of New York completely destroyed: not so exciting. ;_;
The cliffhanger made my blood run cold! Shivers, and everything! Holy manatee. Best last shot ever, y/y? Additionally, Peter seeking out Mohinder after Nathan told him he could help? MADE OF WIN. (Except for the part where I was pleading with them to "Stop calling him 'Suresh,' Petrellis! WTF?") But, yeah, poor lost Peter, confused and vulnerable and Sylared. :O
And now, let the hiatus fan freak out commence! COME QUICK, APRIL 23RD!

I loved seeing him and his wife speak overtly of the OWI and the threat to Claire and themselves, it was kind of sweet in a really messed-up way.
That was totally amazing! "I know how to play dumb". Made me wonder if Sandra acted dumb before? And knows much more than she lets on? And where is she now? Ebil shapeshifter :(
"I've been known to eat zucchinis on occasion, but not as a general rule." LOL, the dialogue is so great.
I know! The writers are made of win. Don't forget about "I wasn't begging for my life, I was offering you yours".
Back to Claire, it's remotely funny how she keeps meeting Petrellis but hasn't yet come face to face with her father.
That's because there are a lot of them. They mutiple like bunnies and remember, you might be related....
He used to be able to tell the difference between Niki and Jessica over the phone, and now he can't? What gives, kiddo?
He didn't get dumb, they tried to make it out like Jessica got smarter--though D.L. didn't seem to fall for it, hmmmm Perhaps D.L. and Micah know and are trying to act normal and are planning something behind her/their back?
Impressive acting job there, Momo.
I rewatched that scene a few times but even with the knowledge that Mohinder knows, nothing gives away he does. Makes me wonder if Mohinder is really THAT good of an actor or that Sendhil didn't know how to act out that bit without spoiling to the audience he knew?
ah, sweet, sweet love
*nods furiously*
did you expect him to burst into flames when Peter looked up, too
You noticed too, Supernatural rip-off! LOL
Sylared
Oh, oh, I like that word!

Date: 2007-03-05 09:53 pm (UTC)littlelot in love with your icon right now. GUH. ♥"I know how to play dumb". Made me wonder if Sandra acted dumb before?
Exactly! Though I might be a little creeped out if it turns out she's not as innocent as we've been led to think. Because then, who on the show even tells the truth anymore?
The writers are made of win.
I think you definitely got that right. The Sylar line you mention has so many layers, it's a joy and a killjoy and a brain-breaker all at once. Sylar in a nutshell.
you might be related...
OHNOEZ! Were that the case, I would have to change all my statements on Petrellicest and get 100% behind the idea! HAVE. TO.
Ooooh, I really, really like your idea about Micah and D.L. seeing through Jessica's act and plotting behind her back! I would love to see something like that play out.
Well, it's canon that Mohinder is smart above average, so... I would say it is fathomable for him to act the part of good ol' clueless Momo up until the moment Sylar has drunk the drug. I just feel he would have to be awfully sure of himself and of his plan to reveal all of that info to Sylar before he even had him in restraints. He showed him the list, for pete's sake!
The alternative hypothesis, through the infamous Rose-Tainted Shipper Lens, is that he enjoyed those three days, when ignorance was bliss and it was just him and 'Zane' against the world, driving around and bonding and making plans to save (ahem) all those special people. Maybe Mohinder wanted to linger in that feeling for as long as he still could, maybe he had a harder time letting go than he'd have liked. Maybe it was easy pretending reality was wrong; maybe it was pretty fucking hard toasting to the end of this all. Poor Mohinder.
Poor Sylar.I LOVE THEM IN ALL OF THEIR TRAGEDY DAMNIT! ♥♥ I am so heartbroken now. ;_;Teehee, maybe future!Sylar is The Devil. After he Sylars Hiro, anything's possible right? One of these days we're gonna see Sammy and Dean-Dean pop up on Heroes. And I definitely stole that word from somebody. Possibly

No one so it seems. And she just doesn't look like a double crossing smart spy, sorry...

*nods* The dialogues for this show are amazing, I was already incredibly impressed by the Mohinder dialogues from the earlier episodes but getting more into the season every character has had perfect lines.
OHNOEZ! Were that the case, I would have to change all my statements on Petrellicest and get 100% behind the idea! HAVE. TO.
LMAO! So I am guessing you don't like Petrellicest either >.< I don't even like Paire! (and didn't before the ship sunk either)

Yup, and Sylar has Charlie's brains so he knows teh list by heart now...

Exactly! She's the very last person you'd expect to be a
very good person; just misunderstooddouble crossing spy! If it ever turns out that she was, than, man, screw X-Files, THIS show embodies the necessity of Trust No One.Hee, seriously. I adore all of the words they write for Mohinder. He's the master of underplayed snark. But it is wonderful to see the dialogue-genius spreading out onto more and more characters. I swear, our grandkids' grandkids will still be studying these scripts in Literature class.
LMAO! So I am guessing you don't like Petrellicest either >.< I don't even like Paire! (and didn't before the ship sunk either)
You're guessing right! I, until proven of pure-bred Petrelli lineage myself, am strongly opposed to Petrellicest of all sorts. And even before the relation was revealed, I never shipped Paire either. She's a KID, c'mon. Claire/Zach is fine by me, but Claire/Peter was icky as far as I'm concerned. I mean, you wouldn't ship Claire/MICAH, right?
Yes! He only needs to take a look, just a second, and it's carved into his memory. Same goes for the map, come to think of it.
And Mohinder's full anatomy. Lucky Sylar.no subject
Date: 2007-03-06 09:08 pm (UTC)I only have 30 icons so far though and I want at least twice as much to make a decent post (1/3rd are Nathan ^_^). But "stuff" keeps distracting me :P (in a totally good way though!)
She's the very last person you'd expect to be a very good person; just misunderstood double crossing spy! If it ever turns out that she was, than, man, screw X-Files, THIS show embodies the necessity of Trust No One.
I fully admit I have never seen an episode of the X-files. I saw a flash once of a ventriliquist (sp?) doll being alive >.< And I used to be afraid of clowns and those dolls, so yeah...
Hee, seriously. I adore all of the words they write for Mohinder. He's the master of underplayed snark.
Not just snark, also deep meaningful speeches that had me intruiged with his character from the start. First Heroes words I ever wrote were a Mohinder speech.
But it is wonderful to see the dialogue-genius spreading out onto more and more characters. I swear, our grandkids' grandkids will still be studying these scripts in Literature class.
*Nods* I already highly worshipped the LOST-writers for there neverending incredible awesome stream of funny quotes and nicknames, but the Heroes writers top them. Easily.

*high fives* Finally someone who has the exact same thoughts on this as me ;) I mean at one point 'they' were all like "Well Claire's older now and the writers are trying to make Peter a bit younger". But that's impossible! Claire's a high school kid and Peter, well Peter has emo!bangs (May they RIP). *sigh*
Yes! He only needs to take a look, just a second, and it's carved into his memory. Same goes for the map, come to think of it. And Mohinder's full anatomy. Lucky Sylar.
The possibilities are endless... I still wonder if Sylar really has to cut open heads by this point to look inside of them. I think his power could be so advanced by now he can see through skin etc. With the bare eye, without cutting it open (he just keeps cutting because's a little twisted psycho). He can most definately look through clothes then, if you know what I mean ;)

Date: 2007-03-07 03:54 pm (UTC)And I never open a post will less than 20 icons in it, unless the teasers manage to grab my interest.I've caught X-Files maybe 3 times in my life, LOL. But I have the strangest memory, absorbing all these useless details, like the mantras in that fandom ("I Believe," "Trust No One," "Fight The Future," etc.) I AM A DORK, OKAY? Okay. :]
Oooh, right! Well, yes, there's another reason he can't die right there. He's the narrator! Plus, I mean, he gets a million life points for saying, "Then I submit to you that God... is a cockroach!" Winnar!1!1!!
Agreed. As far as dialogue goes, Heroes > LOST. I don't think I will EVER get over Ana-fucking-Lucia's "Steve/Scott, whatever!" line. Seriously. Ugh! (Or just for Ana-Lucia in general, for that matter. What were they THINKING?)
*high fives* There is just no way to rationalize Peter/Claire for me. It just... doesn't make sense? I was so baffled that they had such a massive following online. This is nothing against their shippers, it's just that I can't understand it.
The eeeeeeemobangs! <\3 I shall grieve them for a long, long time. But for now I'm thinking, the future episode takes place five years from now so, surely, the hair will have grown back AND THE GLORIOUS BANGS WILL HAVE RETURNED, Y/Y?
Heehee, who knows? That Sylar... But he wouldn't have to make use of a such power on Momo, because you're forgetting the wild rounds of hawt secks in Company Man! It was much too rowdy for NBC to show, so then they had to make the whole episode about HRG, but we obviously know better. ;) Nohinder was in shock from the sight of Sylared!Dale, and 'Zane' wasn't feeling too well either, and they had hot cocoa at a dingy diner on the side of the road, and before you know it they were feasting on each other in the bathroom. And in the car. And in some other dingy motel. And in the car again.

I AM A DORK, OKAY? Okay. :]
Okay :P
Oooh, right! Well, yes, there's another reason he can't die right there. He's the narrator!
Actually, I can't remember him being the narratar for a long time now :S I don't know exactly when it stopped, perhaps after he met 'Zane' ane became too 'busy'?
(Or just for Ana-Lucia in general, for that matter. What were they THINKING?)
Yeah, like seriously. Worst part? EVERYONE started to hate her the moment it became obvious she was going to be a main character and I kept defending her all through the Summer break, saying she couldn't be judged by that one little scene in the airport. And ugh then she did become a regular and I don't think I have ever hated a character so much...
I was so baffled that they had such a massive following online. This is nothing against their shippers, it's just that I can't understand it.
Me too, then again, same goes for Petrellicest and even Winchest. All of those have HUGE following and I am not among them... But now I got Mylar to entertain me :D
The eeeeeeemobangs! <\3 I shall grieve them for a long, long time.
Me too. I love guys with shaggy hair, but they don't seem to like it themselves :( (Chris Halliwell, Gabriel Gray, etc.)
But for now I'm thinking, the future episode takes place five years from now so, surely, the hair will have grown back AND THE GLORIOUS BANGS WILL HAVE RETURNED, Y/Y?
N/N :( Don't forget what future!hiro said (who was also 5 years from the future?): "I didn't recognise you without your scar". Thus the scar is visible ,thus the emo!hair doesn't cover it up *tear*
Heehee, who knows? That Sylar... But he wouldn't have to make use of a such power on Momo, because you're forgetting the wild rounds of hawt secks in Company Man! Dude, exactly. I only knew Michelle by name, not because I had actually seen her in something. And I thought Ana-Lucia was kinda pretty (and nice, I was SO SO SO wrong) and with a bit of luck would hook up with Jack so the Skaters had free game. *sigh* I hate to be wrong.
LOL, yeah, personally I just can't find any appeal to incest. I have no trouble with real person slash, however so if you ever see any Milo/Adrian, plz to be sending the links kthx! And Mylar, Mylar is just so made of hawt, angst, and WIN! I couldn't not ship 'em. They fit so well together! Hee!
Same, same (MONAYBOYD FTW), damnit we're really the same o.O Give me back my half of our brains!!!!
*gasp* But! But maybe the scar is just on his forehead! *hopes on and on*
Well yes, I didn't mean his belly :P But just saying if Hiro speaks of the scar, he sees it all the time and that means there's no emo!hair to cover it up, sadly :(

Word. Just word, to everything you've said. ♥
But one thing's puzzling me -- how the heck did Ando get that job as a security guard, assuming it wasn't just a costume (which it probably wasn't, if he had unlimited access to Linderman's vault)? Because he was kicked out of the casino too and it isn't like Ando could have easily claimed he wasn't associated with Hiro in any way. I'm almost a little worried.

Date: 2007-03-05 10:01 pm (UTC)It's true, Sylar not killing him is obviously a declaration of love. Pervy hobbit that I am, I was of course thinking of all the dirty non-con things Sylar was gonna do to Mohinder as soon as he got up. *titters* And because they're so good and kind they left us that nice big break there for my brain to play around in, d'awww, lubb.
Also, yeah, that new Candace chick annoys the hell out of me. Also, the whole scene with her posing as HRG's wife was far too easy to call, C'MON WRITERS, psh.
Here is what I am voting for: Claude returns to save Peter! Nathan sells his soul but nobody minds 'cause then it's okay for him and Peter to have Teh Secks Dat Dare Not Speak Ith Name since he's already going to the special hell. Oh, and most importantly, Hiro cuts a ho. (If I at least get that, everything's golden.)

ROTFL. SO TRUE.
Also -- was it just me, or was Nathan particularly amazing this episode? I mean, he's always amazing, but we got more action!Nathan. (And Adrian Pasdar kicks so much ass... omfg...)
and whoa, I cannot wait until April 23rd. :( I am going to die.

But he's gonna die, noez! :(
You don't know that! Do you know that?
And I just knew Nathan would react like that, I knew it - let Isaac take the full blame, get Peter out of trouble, and never more speak a word of it. It's interesting, by the way, how Nathan didn't at all seem surprised at Peter's invisibility, which should be new to him. Or were we deprived of a brotherly scene after Peter's didactic purse-snatching episode? (I would think we were. Scandalous!) Well, no matter. This scene was glorious.
And Peter didn't even protest! I guess he was pretty pissed at Isaac. Just like Nathan, being able to come up with a brill plan in like 1 second. I don't think Nathan knew about Peter's invisibility so I was surprised too. Maybe he's no longer surprised by all the stuff Peter can do? After all he knows Peter can mimic abilities.
Nathan's been planning all along to take down Linderman!
YES! I knew it! And it never occurred to me this would be an afterthought...how do you know? I don't think Kring cares if people like Nathan or not because the point is that the show is popular, right? And I used to think people disliked Nathan but turns out 95% of the world loves him. (ok so I made that statistic up)
Just the fact that Nathan stops to talk to a mopey Hiro on his way in is so heartwarming and made of squee. And Hiro's still fanboying him like mad, it's crazy and incredible. Pay attention to the look on Hiro's face when Nathan is talking to the security guards, it is just grand. I am so sure it's exactly how we would look at The Pasdar, LOL.
♥♥♥♥♥
The Niki stuff was great. I am SO GLAD it wasn't Jessica waiting for him in his room and ripping his shirt open, LOL. "You picked the wrong day to screw with me." Um. Nice choice of words. The punch made me laugh, again (gold star for the sound editors).
Me too! Niki rocked here. And LOL Nathan's word choice.
(Also: he doesn't have murder in his heart. Yet?)
I was so conflicted! At first it was FINALLY L!reveal and then it was like uhhh so where's the creepy guy I am expecting and THEN I was like OK nevermind he's worse than creepy: he's crazy! Haven't made up my mind on what I feel about Linderman yet but Nathan+gun=great. Nathan+ambition=even better!
she tricked HRG! Ergo, she's eeeeevil. Whatever will happen to HRG now, huh? *chews lip* I loved seeing him and his wife speak overtly of the OWI and the threat to Claire and themselves, it was kind of sweet in a really messed-up way.
Bennets rock really.

Date: 2007-03-06 12:56 pm (UTC)I don't know about Isaac, and I certainly don't want him to die, but... he painted it! :( And there was Quinto's slip-up in the commentary for ep 16 - unless he was messing with our heads, which is as likely as anything, I guess. ISAAC ALIVE!
Yeah, Peter and Nathan are just a WORLD of wonderful. There is so much that goes unsaid, and still they get each other on such a base level. It's amazing. And your Peter-connection thing? Still hasn't been contradicted by canon, yayz! ^_^
it never occurred to me this would be an afterthought...how do you know?
No solid facts, just random spec. ;) It seems to be a common phenomenon. Writers think up an (awesome) asshat character, someone somewhere worries about likeability and popularity and then, say, Sawyer gets the worst childhood trauma ever imaginable. I'm not saying that's necessarily what happens all the time, but if it were what happened here, I'm actually impressed at how well-crafted the Crucial Plot-Point Of Redemption was brought about.
(I still have a very good friend who hates on Nathan with the fire of a thousand furnaces, and that makes me all ;___; )
LMAO, crazy sounds about right regarding Linderman, yeah. He's a creepy, evil, crazy mofo.
WHO SHOULD BE SHOT IN THE FACE AND TAKEN OUT BACK.And, I concur, on the Nathan greatness. Men with guns shouldn't be allowed to be this hot, btw. GUH.no subject

I don't know about Isaac, and I certainly don't want him to die, but... he painted it! :(
Oh no! I just realised that all his paintings have come true! [er a little late isn't it LOL /self-directed sarcasm] What I mean is I thought people could change the future but really Sylar coming after CLaire was true only she did not die and Peter dying was true only he got lucky. So Isaac's head opening will happen forsure because none of his paintings have ever been prevented! This sucks.
Yeah, Peter and Nathan are just a WORLD of wonderful. There is so much that goes unsaid, and still they get each other on such a base level. It's amazing. And your Peter-connection thing? Still hasn't been contradicted by canon, yayz! ^_^
Gods, YES IT IS. *squishes the brothers* And yayz for canon not killing my Peter-connection theory.
People. Used. To. Hate. Sawyer!!! My brain cannot comprehend this.
nor my heartOh dears. Um there is always the ending eps where no doubt some big heroic Nathan act will occur. (Assuming, me)
He's a creepy, evil, crazy mofo.
LOL I think Linderman may prefer the term "eccentric"

Date: 2007-03-08 05:02 pm (UTC)Well, you know, even the painting Peter finished, of the cheerleader dying (and staying dead) did, in fact, happen. Wouldn't it be ironic if all this time, JACKIE was the one Peter was supposed to save? LOLZ.
To be fair, Sawyer is a complete ass to everyone. But, yeah, personally, he won me over with, "Guess what? I just shot a bear!"
Hopefully! Hope springs eternal, heh. Myself, I am very, very much looking forward to the upcoming, "very nice" Nathan and Claire scene, *SQUEEEEEEEE*

Ha well that could explain why the world is still destroyed in the future.
To be fair, Sawyer is a complete ass to everyone.
Who cares? He is made of teh funny. Is really all I need.

Date: 2007-03-06 04:03 am (UTC)LOL. And indeed I love the fact that there are all these reveals which makes me want to go back and see previous eps again in a new light. I did not expect Angela in that apartment that's forsure.
He used to be able to tell the difference between Niki and Jessica over the phone, and now he can't? What gives, kiddo?
I wondered about that. I am assuming that Jessica is indeed playing Niki the way she used to be before all the DL-in-jail stuff happened and so Micah thinks it's all fine now...
That left me a bit "o_O", a bit "<\3", and a lot incapable of translating the sentiment into words.
haha I was like Mohinder, dearie are you talking to yourself? Because I know Sylar would love to hear that but you wouldn't me dumb enough to tell him all this after being so SMRT just 20 minutes ago?
Anyway, as someone said before me, for Sylar not killing somebody is like saying I love you. IAWTC. He's just hurt and bleeding a little bit, not dead. He's too pretty to die! THEY CAN'T TAKE AWAY THE PRETTY! I refuse.
Sylar loves Mohinder yay
I was so, so very happy for Hiro when it was Ando who showed up as security! Ando totally just made up for all of his past mistakes, however silly they may have been. And Hiro's got his powers back, heeee! Exciting! Though, the sight of New York completely destroyed: not so exciting. ;_;
Ando-kun ROCKS.
OMFG ENDING AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Date: 2007-03-06 01:05 pm (UTC)LMAO! Well, yes, exactly! It's... BARRELS O' FUEL TO THE SYLAR/MOHINDER FAIYAR! Because Momo's all confused still. He KNOWS who 'Zane' is now, but it's like he hasn't fully processed it yet, and so when he gets carried away by this new breakthrough, he's too excited to think exactly who he is spilling the beans to. He's talking to Zane! His friend! His companion who gave him hope! His luvar! And then, well, uh-oh. Right. Um, forget what I just said? I'm gonna shoot you now, 'kayz?
I LOVED YOU AND YOU LIED TO ME!And mind, this is just the Mohinder angle. I'm not even gonna START on Sylar momentarily BUT COMPLETELY reverting to Gabriel and begging for salvation. Breaks. My. Heart. <\3
OMFG I KNOW. 41 DAYS!! [/pathetic]

OMG you think that was true? Does Sylar really want to stop but can't? I don't know if he was playing Mo or being starkly honest.
You actually counted haha.

Date: 2007-03-08 05:16 pm (UTC)So, I guess, yeah, when he was asking for redemption, regardless of whether or not Sylar was trying to manipulate Mohinder, I think Gabriel really meant it. Sylar's sudden, desperate outburst for the list comforts me in that opinion, actually. :)
LOLZ, naw, I just did 6 times 7 days minus one. It might have been the wrong reasons. March 5 to April 5 -> 31 days. April 5 to April 23 -> 18 days. 31 + 18 = 49! NOOOO! So... 46 days now! ;_;

Yeah, I was a little disappointed at first, but at least we got to see it at all, which is really cool considering. Maybe they felt the joke would be old by now, or too distracting, or something.
The promos say the show comes back on the 23rd, which seems so far away and so unfair! :( But we'll make it. *hugs* Yes. We survived the Winter hiatus, we can do it again!

Peter and Nathan! Peter giving the SuperSlip to Nathan! Nathan being allaround awesome!
Oh, and Ando's appearance was awesome too.
In the studio scene, I wanted Issac to punch Candace.
I like the Haitian but it was fun how Claire pulled the bratty passport snatch on him. ha
Poor girl, though. Still awesome like her father.
The video game thing was sort of cute, though.
Yeah.
Ha Niki tricking Jessica.
And I love, love, LOVE how much Sylar was enjoying his chai/poison drink!
wheee and then hahahahaha
It appears Mohinder had found him out at least a few hours earlier, and still he kept talking about his father's research and kept up all appearances of good-natured collaborative work...
I was like, be quiet! But it is true to character...-knows some scientist types-
Gee, Mohinder got less ChandraLove than a dead sister and a budding superpsycho.
did you expect him to burst into flames when Peter looked up, too?
I was like, Sylar's the demon? There are enough Supernatural/Heroes fanfics as it is!
And aack THE FUTURE

Certainly would have served her right! I guess poor Isaac was too stunned to do anything.
I think Mohinder's mindless rambling also said a lot about his levels of confusion over the last three days; almost as if he wanted against all reason to ignore Sylar's identity just a minute longer.
And then the pot whistled. Damnit.I know! The well of angst there is endless! That is why no matter what happens, I will always have a thing for Sylar/Mohinder, in whichever way you may choose to look at them. Guh!
Hee. I think the SPN hiatus has made us all hypersensitive to any possible reference. ;)

Date: 2007-03-06 10:40 pm (UTC)That was *LITERALLY* my first thought: "Is Mohinder gonna burst into flames now?" I may or may not have said it out loud. FANGIRLS FTW.
Nathan didn't at all seem surprised at Peter's invisibility, which should be new to him.
Nathan definitely paused before he started speaking, though, when he first saw Peter. I'm attributing his poise to his experience in law/politics; he's spent the majority of his adult life navigating the politics of interpersonal relationships (not only in his career, but probably in his family as well).
He really is trying to make a change in the world the only way he knows how. *pets him*
Absolutely. And the scene with Hiro? "You pretend you do not care about anyone. But you do care. Too much." BROKE MY EFFIN HEART, YO. I am now officially a Nathan fangirl. And it may be time to finish The Gen!Fic That Would Not Be Written.
Re: Killing the pretty: My good friend IRL who also watches Heroes (and SPN, so although she didn't see the ep last night there was much glee between us) said that if they kill Mohinder, she's boycotting the show. I won't go quite that far, but-- Mohinder has been like a narrator for this, and although they've been phasing him out of that role for the past couple of weeks (eek, foreshadowing?) he's the one person who's been there for the audience to connect to who hasn't had a power. So I will be very crankypants if he gets killed.
I was really excited about Ando showing up as a security guard because I'm pretty sure he was wearing the security guard uniform in Peter's vision. Or else I just made that up.
Also, April 23rd = not even pretending to be soon enough. This is like the winter hiatus all over again. Why, Kring, why? OTOH, at least new SPN is coming up starting next Thursday to distract us. :)

Date: 2007-03-07 05:24 pm (UTC)Aha! That makes a whole lot of sense. *nods*
Yesss, Hiro sees things in Nathan that others don't even know to look for. Beautiful things. ♥ Also, when he's around Hiro, Nathan wants to believe that having powers such as theirs is actually a good thing. Yay for officially fangirling Nathan! Have you joined
Me too, on the crankyness! You're absolutely right, they need to keep 'mere mortals' around for the audience not too feel too disconnected. Ergo, Mohinder lives. Yes.
Ooooh, that's so neat about Ando's uniform! I hadn't noticed, but maybe I'll go back and watch the dream sequence again.
Exactly, Heroes and The Office are off, House can't seem to settle on a schedule that would make the slightest hint of sense, but at least I'll have Lost and SPN to tide me over. :)
