Okay, um. Milo Ventimiglia, Ali Larter, Tim Kring and Jeph Loeb are announced at a French film & TV festival called Jules Verne Aventures on April 22nd. To launch Heroes in France, I presume - which is a little weird, considering it's not slated to begin airing on TF1 until September. I'm a bit wary of this info, and the website for the festival (julesvernefestival.com) seems to be down half the time, but if this gets confirmed? I am so going. And wearing my Petrelli shirt, haha!
For now, I'm having trouble believing it could actually be true. I'm still in this "OMGNOWAI" state, because, seriously... oh my Gods, no way! It'd be ridiculously marvelous and I might die of squee.
Meanwhile! General episode thoughts!
Mohinder looks so good in pink. Guh. And his scarf is cute and endearing and I want the same one for myself. (What? I didn't say they'd be PROFOUND thoughts.) Seriously, I love Mohinder, and Sendhil's delivery of some of his lines. What was it he said to Nathan, "I believe I came off as a deranged lunatic?" Bwaaahaha. ♥ (Also, I love that Nathan calls him "Doctor". Hee.)
Yay for Zach helping Claire find her parents! Methinks Mr. Bennet might be onto something, though. Not that this would be of much incidence, of course, if Sylar (who lives, duh) decides to exert any sort of revenge for the two weeks of torture. As much as he creeps me out, I guess it would be somewhat justified. Back to Claire, yaaay for finding her mom! Alive!
Aw, damn, I was looking forward to meta'ing Simone again this week. [/sarcasm] I did miss Isaac. (He's hawt AND adorable.)
I adore Noah Gray-Cabey and how GLEEFUL Micah is about his powers. It's simply delightful. He has the brightest smile of any kid ever, and when he's not grinning, he can do the single most amazing "bitch plz!" face I have ever seen. It's a riot. I heart Micah so much. DL's behavior this week seemed kind of off to me, I didn't figure him to be such a, well, a sissy. Never felt much like a man, WOT? o.O Also, Leonard Roberts' fingers are freakishly long and bony. (Yes, random.) I liked the Niki stuff, how she told DL how to be with Micah, and how she held onto what little control she can have over Jessica.
PETRELLIS! The piiiiictuuuuuuurrre, GUH. And he packed it in his bag, too. N'aaaw. How so very them, that Nathan would (swallow his pride and) shake heaven and Earth to find Peter, and then not even say anything about the coma and the angst (omg, the angst!) and the relief and the worry and... Pfft. Dysfunctional is right. Cute fact: Nathan has the key to Peter's place.
"I could have my mentally ill brother committed, for his own safety." Ooooooh, nasty! He's such a control freak. The guard at the door made me laugh, too, and the orders for him to get to the airport and not let Peter leave. It's crass because those are shitty things to do unto your siblings, but they only reveal how much he actually cares for Peter. He might as well just go, hell, what do I care? And he's not, because, "You're my big brother. You fix everything." ♥ (See also: "He's my brother and I love him" ; "I love you, man.")
Was Peter going to fly out the window, had Claude not been there to hide him? I wouldn't put it past him. Might even have worked, probably.I kinda wish Nathan would have followed suit under that assumption.
Claude is made of win. Maybe a little wishy-washy, but he's funny and threatening all at once, and that's a great combination in my book.
As for Hiro, well, I love Hiro more with each episode. For the same reasons everybody else does, I guess. I CAN'T HELP IT. Hiro = ♥♥♥ Trading himself in for Ando-kun! How honorable is that? Oh, his father looks badass. But come on, it's his dad. I don't expect he would physically hurt his own son. I mean, who can hate on Hiro? Imagine his own family, who raised him to be like that. (Of course, I know I'm wrong. I just want no harm to come Hiro's way.)
Almost forgot Matt! I was sort of hoping Niki would be the pregnant character, because that's a million times more (melo)dramatic, but yay! I was rooting for them to stick together. I suppose that means no more Audrey? I'm sorry Matt got suspended, but he was So Freaking Happy at the news of the baby, I could only react in kind. That is to say: OMGYAY.
I think that about covers everything, and I'm now going to listen to the actors' commentary. Hee! Does anybody know if they'll be doing them every week? It's such a great feature.
ETA: answers to my favorite characters meme revealed tomorrow - until then, you can still participate. Purizu?

Date: 2007-02-02 11:54 pm (UTC)Yes but Peter called Mohinder Mohinder. And HRG did. And Eden. Or at least they called him Suresh. But Nathan went with the title cause he's a formal/polite sort of guy. Also may trying to be subtly telling Mohinder that no he isn't a deranged lunatic.
LMAO, it wasn't me suggesting DL become a stripper, but sure! I could get behind that idea. ;D
-.-; I realised that a bit later but forgot to delete my comment. But one does wonder what Micah was suggesting DL resort when he said "mom always managed to find money"
It was in that very same scene, the guard is all 'wtf just happened? O_O' and Nathan is all, 'whatever, *eyerolly* now get movin' on to the airport and don't let him go anywhere.'
Waaah! I think my brain was still frozen from the hand-action thingie because when I went back to re-watch I realised I didn't remember that bit at all...
And then I re-watched the whole scene and realised Peter said he had a plane to catch so I guess he was planning on going to Nevada.
YAY PHYSICAL COMEDY! ^^
Now all we need is a piano dropping on someone's head.
oooh you know if Heroes continues for years and years like comics do then we could be seeing the origins of a future generation of Heroes. Is Claire a current gen or future gen :?
it'll be just another reason to loathe Janice, LMAO.
And certainly would make us suspicious about the baby's father.

Date: 2007-02-04 12:15 pm (UTC)LMAO, indeed! That kid is smart. He knows a lucrative career path when he sees one.
Now all we need is a piano dropping on someone's head.
lulz, Simone's plzkthx. Or Sylar!!!!11! (Or Audrey.) No, seriously, it'd be freaking HILARIOUS if Sylar of all people was smited to the ground by an effin' falling piano! XD

Ooooh, I like that! Maybe she can be the, uh, 'young Padawan' of the older current generation, and the leader of the next! Imagine that! Claire leading Micah, Nate and Petey*, Matt's kid, and all of Isaac & Mohinder's beautiful babies... Hee!
* I have decided Nathan's sons are called Nathan Jr. and Peter, because, in his heart, Nathan truly wishes he and his baby brother had been closer in age, and thus closer friends growing up. ♥♥♥ (
Petey is the one with the healing powers, btw.) And also, he's kinda fucked-up in his head, albeit in a sweet way, though that's just another reason we love him.And certainly would make us suspicious about the baby's father.
Definitely. As if we weren't a lot, already.

Date: 2007-02-06 12:42 am (UTC)Yes good candidates for piano-falling. Except Audrey :(
Maybe we should tell Nathan that he can end Sylar with a piano?

ok first ZOMG I read Isaac & Mohinder's babies in suuuch a dodgy way -_- But that would be really cute! And I like Nate & Petey and Nathan's fucked-upness ♥

Date: 2007-02-06 01:26 pm (UTC)LOL, yeah, but then again Nathan can probably end anyone with as little as a half-pound pebble, as long as he drops it from high enough above ground. Impact velocity = wonderful thing. XD

Haha, you know I totally intended it that way. Just think how pretty they would be. Oh!

Date: 2007-02-06 11:33 pm (UTC)ooh hadn't thought of that *awed by the ingenuity of plan* Sylar would never even see that coming!
Haha, you know I totally intended it that way. Just think how pretty they would be. Oh!
I should've known it wasn't all in my head! You were sending me sublymonal messages!
