adeline'kay, update is a long time coming, I have memes and stuffs to post, but the saddening amount of Bones love on the f-list has advanced my TV thoughts recap thing that I intended to post later with the rest. :p
House, 5x01: Dying Changes Everything
omg, House. WILSON. ;_; That's pretty much my global reaction, lol. It's good to see Wilson finally putting himself first, though. (Of course, that's easy for me to say when I have every faith they'll eventually make amends, but I've kind of been waiting. It's realistic.)
Cuddy was made of so much win, I can't even explain! Chase was kind of dickish to the new team, but I'll forgive him... because I've missed himand also my Jesse Spencer crush has flared up intensely in the past few weeks. Lulz. I really liked Cameron's scene with Wilson, strangely. Yay? And also, I love Kutner and Taub! 13's diagnosis is sad and all, but jeez, we get it already - and her 'tude is not helping.
And by the by, did I mention how much House and Wilson BROKE MY HEART? ajedfkls;dfjka! And yeah, for a moment there, they totally tricked me into thinking Wilson was about to ~confess his luv~ lolol. It was the last scene, where he was like "I wish I could blame you" and "You spread misery b/c you're afraid of real relationships" and I was like OMFG NO WAI. And yeah, no way. XD
But gods, I've missed this show. So glad to have it back. Even though it so harshly abuses my emotions. Cannot wait for next week!
Fringe, 1x02: Same Old Story
Color me officially impressed. I mentioned, after seeing the pilot, that I was intrigued but not entirely mindblown. Well, consider me now swept off my feet! I loved this episode. The pacing, the case, the nascent arcs, the characters (omg), the general mood, the humor... Awesomeness all around! I'm hooked for the season!
I still think Olivia's a bit stiff in places, but I'm willing to give her time and see if that's just how the character's written (in which case, meh) or how Anna Torv plays her (where, hopefully, she'll get more apt eventually). Conversely, I adore Walter and Peter's relationship.
Bones, 4x04: The Finger In The Nest
Hee, Parker is still the cutest! I love him, and it's always a treat to see daddy!Booth. Even if he was a little ridiculousalbeit adorable when insisting Sweets see his son. ^^
It's so weird with this show; right now I feel this episode was supremely sad but also kind of wonderful? It confuses me! XD So yeah, Hodgins kind of made my heart ache all over. I mean, just that one exchange with Angela? Ohmigods. And missing Zach, hating him for being an idiot? *sigh* <\3 Also, it was nine kinds of upsetting when Brennan was all set and ready to adopt Ripley and Booth had to tell her he was put down. ;_;
Btw, the dog whisperer is so amazing! I wish I could do that! All the dogs were utterly lovable when all quiet and attentive. *pets 'em*
I have this whacky idea also, that Brennan hatin' on Ripley's original owners (a perfectly valid reaction, mind) for wanting to get rid of him because they were too stupid to realize this cute little puppy would grow into a big dog was a (far-fetched, admittedly) hint at her true thoughts regarding her attachment to Booth. LOLWHUT. But really, it started as a small innocuous thing, right? And though she (nor he) may acknowledge it as such, it's grown into a huge deal over the years, so... Yeah, I'm still certifiable. STFU. :p
Aaand crap, I've got to run now, but not before I make it known I really like the intern in this episode and he was quite possibly my favorite one so far.
Unrelatedly... SUPERNATURAL TONIGHT OMG! This is an awesome week for TV, clearly.
And also, I'm kind of going on awesome-overload with all the Heroes stuff that's been popping up. Those guys at NBC/Universal sure know how to work up the hype. LMAO @ the "Who Shot Nathan Petrelli?" promo they just released, that was fantastic lulz. XD ETCETERA. I won't have time to commentate it all. I just love everything ever about this show, pretty much. Yay!
I'll try and make a proper entry tonight. Maybe.
