"I'm not a cargo jet, Parkman."

LOL, okay, so I was on Adrian's youtube page because I wanted to embed one of his videos into this more light-hearted post, and I saw that he posted a message a little under an hour ago! This is what it says:
Awesome or awesome? I say AWESOME.
And yeah, a lot of stuff doesn't add up and I can't wait until he can talk (lolol no lie, that "Yet." is my favorite part in his note), and maybe this is all but a storm in a teacup and next week we'll feel like total morons, but probably not. The storm has been coming a while. The more I learn, the more I'm convinced the Heroes management treats its people like crap, and that's just foul.
But back to my original sentiment, here's the treasure I wished to remind us all of:
♥♥♥
And below the cut is a poll about what roles you think Pasdar should go for next, because clearly we can't be without his fantastic self on our screens for too long, can we?
[Poll #1480419]
Last but not least, here's a humorous article courtesy of MTV.com on the many falls of Nathan Petrelli. (Thanks,
kelleah.)
Right, and there was a new episode of Heroes on last night. I shall review it later, and probably finish the season too because a) I am that clingy, and b) we haven't seen the last of Adrian yet. Also did I mention my clinginess? I'll keep the gratuitous hate to a minimum though, promise.
ETA: EW.com: What should Adrian Pasdar's next project be? It's like they read my mind. ;)
I won't say anything. Yet. Other than that the last four years have been wonderful and ALL the folks that go into making HEROES have treated me professionally and with respect. I am still under contract to NBC/Universal, and will remain so until the end of season 4. On another note, I spent today with Masi Oka at Universal Studios, on the lot, and we had some fun behind the scenes at the Jaws attraction on the Tour... I'll post it in a bit. All I had was my iPhone, so the quality might not be as decent and you're used to... Stay Tuned!

Date: 2009-11-03 09:08 pm (UTC)I Would love to see him on something like Glee!
I miss the good old days of 2007 when he would post Heroes related vids every week and we would be so happy.

Date: 2009-11-03 09:22 pm (UTC)I was surprised so many people commented to Kristin and Ausiello that he should be on Glee! But come to think of it, I would love that. XD
The were like the Golden Days of Heroes Fandom, true story. The summer between seasons 1 and 2 was the best.

Date: 2009-11-03 09:29 pm (UTC)I need Sendhil in Glee as a bitchy coach of another Glee team....Adrian perhaps could be another coach (I'm guessing we will see more teams in the second half of the season when they go further)

Date: 2009-11-03 09:57 pm (UTC)Wouldn't it be ADORABLE if he showed up on Glee as an AP Anthropology teacher or something? Hee. And/or Terri's new annoying-as-hale redneck boyfriend, lmao. Idk why, that would amuse me to no end.
I am so glad I have you, as well! I would be such a MESS if I couldn't talk and vent and rant and have other people feel the same and understand <3 *hugs*

Date: 2009-11-03 09:35 pm (UTC)But as the treating an awesome actor like crap news, its sad. Really fucking sad.
But that is the nature of the business sometimes. Execs, bigwigs, producers can be ruthless and don't care as long as they get paid.
I hope he gets work soon and does AWESOME!

Date: 2009-11-03 10:07 pm (UTC)It's upsetting that he was treated so wrong, but you know what? I feel somewhat heartwarmed that the TV spoiler columnists did not just shut up about it and instead made the big ruckus that they did. It's the kind of solidarity that I find truly inspiring and admirable. <3 And now we're justly able to rally behind this guy we love and let him know we're not done with him yet and he has our support and sympathy. Win 78823 for the internet! :D
I'm mean I'm not glossing over how awfully TPTB behaved, I still find it really sickening. It's just nice that fans are reacting in such an awesome way to it.

Date: 2009-11-03 10:28 pm (UTC)O.O shhhhhhh!!! don't give them ideas.
You know, I totally understand what you're saying and that firing him through the script is beyond disgusting behavior. And its beautiful that fans are showing him that he has support and that he'll be followed to other projects.
But even AP put it in his message that he's contracted with NBC until the end of Season 4. So he's getting paid. He's got time. Even though they randomly booted him off the show and that probably hurts on a personal level and I feel for the guy, but professionally I think he'll be fine.

That'd be awesome if he could join a show I'm already watching/intend to watch. But let's face it, if he gets a new gig on ANY show, I'm gonna be watching that. lol.

Date: 2009-11-03 11:47 pm (UTC)Okay, I'm back.
Anyway, I also had the write-in suggestion of maybe joining Leverage and/or Burn Notice as a recurring villain. What can I say, I love those shows and I like my Pasdar dark. ;-) He couldn't be a regular cast member, but that's not all that bad. For now, anyway.
I think Adrian will keep it classy-ish when he finally responds to what happened. Granted, he's not one to pussyfoot around, but he's been in the business a long time and he knows the producer he badmouths today, could cost him a job tomorrow. If not directly, then possibly by word-of-mouth or influence. I think he'll play it cool.
But hey, let's not take the piss on Grunny, though. He's not a cheerleader on autopilot. He's criticized the show in the past as well. I remember a few comments he made during Heroes Unmasked about a few things that happened that made his character look too stupid early on, and he's tweeted that he thought giving Parkman the same ability as Usutu was too heavy handed a plot device last season. So I don't think he's just a meat puppet for Kring & Co.

Date: 2009-11-11 01:49 am (UTC)And if Ausiello was telling the truth about HOW he was let go, then...that just sucks. I don't even know what to say to that, because it seems so disrespectful that I'm finding it hard to believe it happened. But then again, Ausiello is pretty reliable.
